This all depends.
To have an accurate comparison you really need to be shooting at the same target as damage will vary by CL.
This girl would encourage you to explore all of your special attacks from Pistoleer and Smuggler and make your own analysis of what works best in what situations.
For example, this girl uses reckless shot a lot in groups where there is a tank or when the mob is melee and rooted because the -80 or so defensive penalty does not matter if your not being hit.
This boy would be inclined to introduce himself to that girl.

Seriously though, what are the stats on your pistol? I hit a wee bit harder than you and have a fairly nice krayted out pistol. And are your numbers before or after armor reduction?
And pistols don't hit hard. Rifles hit hard. Pistols hit *fast*. I have a modified speed on my pistol of around .8 seconds. Even though I only pepper my shots, they come lightning fast.

Do we have to be serious???? Ugh.... ok. OK!!! I think my gorax un uber squirt gun get about 1200 at the highest, but that's only non armored stuff. Higher level animals I get much lower per hit.

Sadly sir, our designated "master smuggler" pistol is not the best pistol out there by a long shot. This girl prefers both pre-and post-cu featherweight FWGs, considerably better all around.
In this girl's opinion, your pistol has: low max damage, high speed, and high SAC.
