I hear ya.. i was Master Musician/Smuggler for a long time and ATK every minute of it. When i had such "unwilling" or ignorant customers that even lack the slightest common sense? they had 3 trys.. if they insisted to ingnore me after 3 rd time.. /deny FTW.

Most then realised what they were doing and came back on a regular base.. chatting, tipping and such. I didnt do it for the money, even if i made more cash as i could carry, but the interaction with the other players. And when i invest time to offer a service i can atleast expect a Thank you or Hi when they enter.

Along those lines though, and with regards to the slicing not breaking the hard cap I can see the respec Smuggler's, (well actually I can see most Smugglers doing this really)slicing the weapons to 100% customization, but not giving the weapon a 10% boost and having people complain about Smuggler's in general.

Mind you - I'm still not fully up to speed on the relationship of the hard cap to the slice so I could be talking stupid here

Yeah, that would be another possible negative to the new slicing is the lower percentages. I was hoping that after this change I couldthrow out my macro thattells my clients the same thing "If your item is near, or at, it's caps I will get a very low slice" but then that macro is probably why folks cheer me when I get slices like 6% damage cause they might be expecting a 1 or 2% increase.

So I'm worriedthatnon-Smuggler playerswill start treating us the same way, with that "It doesn't cost you anything so I want it for free" attitude? Whilemost folks here in the forummight not put up with that kind ofattitude,how long till the respec or alt smugglersstart doing it for free cause it doesn't cost them any tools or even any real skill to work the slicing popups?

Respec or Alt Smugglers will stop doing it for free when it becomes a time burden on them (if they do that sort of thing in the first place).

For those who have that "I want it free" attitude,..well they can bugger off and find another Smuggler.
