Yes and no. You'll have a small chance to fail at DF1 than at DF4 but it is rare. Otherwise it's the same.

does it still work in pvp like jedi used to use all the time? Like they cant deathblow you, just beat on u and give u 2999 wounds?

Feign death for the win!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously I have used it in PVP and have not had anyone repeatedly beat me while I lie there. I am 90% sure all they can do is stare at ya.,

Somehow, I was able to get incapped when Feigned in PVP. I'm pretty sure it was a Combat Medic, and that he gave me a DoT.

the other night in PVP massive fight i've been rooted at one moment and 3 Jedis went on me. As no healer was there, after a stim, my health was decreasing quite fast, even with my def, so I tried feign death.

feign death succeded, BUT the Jedis continued to hit me and "revived" me and incaped me and DB me.

So FD in PVP is unuseful, it doesn't work.
