I think the point most of you are missing here is that the Devs time is not their own. Don't get me wrong, I am peeved at the lack of communication as much as anyone but can we blame the individual Dev?
How many of us go to work with the plan to get something finished only to be dragged away and directed to do something else by the Boss?
Happens to me all the time.
GM seemed sincere in his desire to talk with us, but if the SOE bosses demand that he spend all his time on Jedi or JTL ('cause that is where the $$ are) then we can't blame him.
Blame SOE.
Blame their hunger for the mighty $$.
Blame the shareholders.
2 Cents.

Arcan. As my boss is always telling me, its about expectations.
You tell your client a job will take 7 days and you deliver in6 and he'll be happy. You deliver in4 he'll be ecstatic.
You tell your customer that you'll dothe same jobin 2 days and it takes you 3, he'll be annoyed.
If you get back to the client on the day you said it would be done and say "Look, Im sorry but I tried and I cant do it today. I'll have it with you next week" begrudgingly he'll accept it, and it's professional.
But you tell your clients that you'll do the job in 7 days, and you don't get back to him after 14 days he's going to be very very pissed off.
All it would have taken is "Sorry guys. I did plan to have some answers for you this week but with the problems we've had with the Bounty Hunter change i've been sidetracked". That would have taken 30 secs. That would have been professional.

I personally don't think a feign-in will accomplish anything, though it is a neat mental image.
All it does is screw up the servers and earns the open enmity of most of the other players there.
The devs know we have issues, I've been doing my best to get answers and some volunteered responses to our community.
They wont tell me diddly about JTL till Beta... and that's been used on smugglers as Combat Balance has been used on Pikemen.
I still have faith in GreenMarine mostly because I need to have faith in something. I've asked in the c-forum, sent an email to his address and looked at his forum account statistics. He has not logged onto these forums since the 29th, read my PM's or replied to my emailso I personally feel that he ison a vacation extending past the 4th (Which is reasonable) and the devs are just unwilling to tell me that...

That being the case, why did GreenMarine himself not tell us he was going on vacation?
That way we'd at least be pacified. Instead, we're all gnawing at the bit to hear something and they refuse to tell us anything, not even that little tidbit of information.
This is not the way to treat customers.
I hope some massive apology comes out of this, even if its written insincerely.

"We probly wont see any fixes of any sort intill JTL. So ... yeah"
Once again, please read the post. I'm not asking for fixes, nor am I suggesting they will not happen. I am asking for the communication that was promised to us.
I don't have to be patient. The smuggler community has been patient for too long and all its done for us is get us nerfed.

I'm more annoyed that the only attention we received in the first place withfrom the most overworked dev acting on his FREE TIME! The fack that he flaked out again was irrelevant.. why wasn't anyone listening on company time?? We keep falling over backwards to help with their last-minute games of 20 questions, and the BEST THEY CAN DO is offer up some poor overworked guy who's on his way to bed??
Face it folks, Smuggler isn't a priority. Not even a slightly-below mediocre one. The game now is pacification, and the "We just need some more patience" people have bought it hook, line and sinker.

I fully expected this to happen, its been the cycle since I started playing in september. Those of you that say "you guys need more patience." I suggest you read Electricnomads History of how we were treated. If you have read it, read it again - and again, until it sinks in that this community has been patient beyond what should be considered reasonable.
If you are new to the game, I can understand your naive outlook - but those of us who have been around for several months have been seeing this pattern over and over, and it is NOT going to change, unless there is a major shakeup at the top, which I don't see happening.
I keep playing, but without hope that this profession will ever really matter. I just have fun with my friends and accept that smuggler is so limited that all I really have is the title. Like someone said before, it will get to the point that all that is left are people that got to master for the love of the profession.
