Thread: Smugglers need a slicing container...
Agreed, we really need something sorted out. Already my two POB ships are full and I've had to buy another house. And I still have crates to salvage.
Stacking is the obvious answer, but I like the quest/case idea too. I just hope they provide some sort of solution soon.
Stackable tools would be a VERY good idea.
They have no serial numbers so they are essentially identical... there is no good reason not to do so!
Right now I've got BACKPACKS full of tools stowed on my servant vendor... around 20 packs so far, and some 70 crates still left to salvage.
I'd consider selling some IF anyone was having any real steady success looting the simple and fine toolkits - but until then I'm hangin onto them like they're the last ones I'll ever see.

Great idea! and crafters ought to be able to carry 1000's of resources in our backpacks without having our inventory fill up too.
You DO, Einstein... Resources are STACKABLE,
It takes 18 spaces in our inventory just for the tools to slice a single suit of armor. Don't even begin to insinuate that you've got it so tough.
Components aren't stackable, reasources of one type are stackable upon themselves, but when you need 50 different resource types to create components, weapons, armor etc. Our inventory fills up fast as can be. I have empathy to your situation, but I just thought it was funny to read the guy saying that you needed an infinite inventory to fix your issues.
