I've hit 45% enc on a three or four comp pieces, always for other people...(I've yet to get a good slice on my own armor, it's always someone else...)
I got 35 speed, but I can't really feel that proud since this guy had bought like ten VK's and was looking for the best slice possible so I just kept slicing until I hit the max. He may have gone back and bought more, I can't remember how many VK's I sliced.

you must be new to smuggler...(not a diss)
35% weapon damage and speed,
35% armor effectiveness,
45% armor encumberance.
Do enough slices and you'll see these with reasonable regularity...NOT frequency...regularity.

No hun not new to smuggler, just since I am a roleplayer I am not easy to find for slices, don't often wear my master tag, I just act the part and my roleplaying friends aid me by having whispered conversations and such. It draws me clients but only the right kind. And I may have hit a few other decent ones when I did a mass slice for an armorsmith I knew in Eclipse before I character Transferred to StarSider to find roleplay. When I was working with Cedia it was like slice 200-250 pieces in a row so I kinda paid attention to only wether they were ecumberance or effectiveness, anyway I know none of those broke 36ish so.....I guess I have only started getting good luck, maybe my move to starsider changed the luck of my rolls, well her's to hopin.

believe it or not I actually had a 49% encumberance slice just after I mastered Smuggler many moons ago. This was back when I didn't know jack about being smuggler. so I didn't think too much about it.

I hit a 35% damage slice on a geo. Why is it that when I'm slicinggeo blasters for other people I get30-35% slices,but when I'm slicing my own geos I always get like 14%?

Got a nice 33% dmg on a scatter, now around 220 max.
Got hight 30's dmg on someone's sycthe.
Got all encumb on someone's compo when they wanted encumb.

well, I've had 35% damage slices on both a krayted de-10 (not my own one ) and a krayted flamethrower... the guy was very happy with that one.. nice tip I may add

Weapons: 35%. Hit 2 35's and a 34 all three in a row while slicing weapons for the guild weaponsmith. (Mos Elsewhere if you are on Bria... /endguildplug)
Armor: I forget, but I think it was around 37%. I really don't slice much armor so I don't pay as close attention to the slice numbers.

i had a de-10 made with 87 damage krayt tissue, got a 33 or 34% damage slice. I nearly died on the spot.

ahhh...
I'd REALLY like to do the RP smuggler thing myself. Only problem with not having your title visible is that there are too many Slicer-only types out there and people really would rather know their slices are by a master smuggler.
Though as a compromise I NEVER EVER advertise. I lurk about, with title showing, and then meet people that find me.
What I'd like is if there were 'informants' scattered about where players could find names of master smugglers so that we do NOT have to display our titles but the player is still assured of what we are.

Ya I have gotten plenty of 35% damage slices. 45% encum slices. Not sure if I have hit 35% effect slices but I know for sure I have gotten a over 30% a number of times. I slice weapons more so than armor since I slice for myself more than anything and dont wear composite that much.. probably only had 6 or 7 composite suits in my whole star wars lifetime. I wear ubese armor 90% of the time when hunting.

Armor highest I have had: 35% EFF or 45% ENC (I have had both, not on the same item of course)

I got a 35% dmg hit on an executioners hack that i'd spent a good 2 months looting for...in order to get the best components possible. After the slice the hacks max damage with a 16% dmg pwp was 489. I'm not or never was a swordsman, but i really like the weapon.
Unfortunately the hack was in a storage droid in my datapad. and a large transfer of AUK schem's from a AS buddy into my datapad bugged the storage droid and it dissapeared. Ofcourse I didn't notice this for about 3 days as i rarely take the hack out to check it out or show a friend. CSR correspondence informed me that the droid and it's content were too long gone to retrieve, he was even able to list all the content, sad sad day.
The hack made from the 1 schem did have a twin, that i got a 32% dmg slice on. I gave the twin to my guild WS who made it for me, he's also a swordsman and gets good use out of it.
I've gotten many 32-34% dmg and speed slices in my days of a smuggler. One thing i never got was a 35% base slice on armor. I recently dropped all smuggler skills and moved on, but threads like this make it nice to look back on.
