A guildie picked up Luck 4 and he loots DOT weapons left and right. The guy looted 3 one right after the other. I'd be really great if it gave you a better percentage on slices though, oh well

I'm glad to hear luck has no effect on slicing, I don't want to have to be FS to slice.

So it is more or less confirmed that Luck also enhances item loot? Last time i checked that was only a rumor.

I've also heard from some sources that vehicle control has no effect, but from others that it does. Wish Whip wasn't bugged so I could do that quest

Yup. Luck only gives you more credits or loot drops from PVE.

Has NOTHING to do with Slicing, and I really doubt and hope it ever will.

I'm glad to hear that it doesn't, but the lack of documenation that plagues our profession and Force Sensitivity (Luck and Persuasion at least)will make sure the question is brought up time and time again.

No doubt that the documentation for smuggler sucks, but I don't think there's anything wrong with it here. Hovering over the "Luck" modifier specifically states that it improves loot chances. There's no reason for us to believe luck helps slicing, although it would be logical. It would be silly for luck to list everything it DIDN'T do. It's not the documentation thats the problem, it's just that the skill is vastly narrower than it could be.

Documentation for persusion and the rest of smuggler is certainly lousy, though.
