I think feign death works great. If something is about to kill me, I feign death and lay there while my ham regenerates. Then I get up and fight some more.

I do think it's rather broken in PVP, in PVE it works fine. After all, if you'd just killed someone, then a couple mins later they get back up, surely you'd want to stomp them into the floor somemore to be sure...

There is nothing wrong with FD. It has saved my life more times then i care to tell. Out of our whole party (11) the 3 smugglers were the only ones to walk out of the DWB. Smuggler FD is also Key in making it through the Corvett. Now mix it with FOW in the TKA skill tree and it becomes even more usefull (even if FOW only works once an hour).

It depends on how you see it, I personally use FD a lot especially in PvP, I do one of the following, If I have only one or 2 guys on me I do a Rofce of Will (while buffed, it fills the whole HAM) and get up and kick the guys ass they aint expecting it, or if i'm crowded i do a litttle bit of recon see who is what and wait for my Master Commando friend to flame them all and keep the TEF alive.

lol,I do the same thing in PVP. If you work FD in the manner it is available in it will keep you alive. If you add FOW you can really suprise people in PVP and that few seconds suprise is allI need.

It's been working fine for me in PvE. Would it be nice if it dropped agro? Yeah, I guess, but when you can hit a MOB with flmaeSingle2 and flameCone2, then feign and wait for the burns to dissipate and do it all over again…yeah, it works. I solod a DJM doing that yesterday. Poor guy hardly touched me, and he seemed so confused every time I went down, only to get back up and set him on fire again. Muwahahaha.

I've used FD torescue players getting beat down by a mob.
I've also found this macro to be extremely useful;
/ui action clearCombatQueue;
/feigndeath;
/ui action toolbarPane04;
/pause 2;
/ui action toolbarPane00;
Pane00 has all my pistol specials. Pane04 has a selection of spices and foods to choose from so I can pick what I need for fastest recovery.
Vercupti andPixie are a good emergency combo since I drink and hunt on an empty stomach. Use Kiwik Clusjo Swirl if you can fit it in.
/emote throws an emptybrandybottle into the woods and readies the rancor spotlight.

Can a medic heal you while your on the ground Feigning Death???
And, can you FOW while on the ground as well???

Yes a medic can healyou whenyou are down and FOW only works when you are down. So yes and yes....

ok is it just me or does FD take away ham when u use it? i just recently got it and when ive used it my ham drops a good amount. im not sure if the dude i was fighting hit me at he same time or what.

FD takes some HAM to use, and the hit that you Feign on will do a lot more damage than it would have otherwise. So if you've waited to Feign until you've got 3 health left, you're probably too late.

fun to see how many mobs you can bring up top at the geo caves then feign death and watch the hate tells come .... good times.....
