Thought I saw somebody else say something about adding them together.... but if that's the case, my bad.

But we are doing the math right and they were talking about 70% base armor not 60%. 70 x 1.35=94.5, but armor can't be higher than 90 so the 4.5 gets dropped.

God, you people! No wonder slicing prices have gone through the roof! You guys wanted a fair price hike like everyone else is doing... but you when nuts cause alot of you saw docs increase their prices 2-5k from 10k, and alot didnt' seem to get that going from 3k to 5k+ was a large increase. It's all about percentage.
Same goes for the slice.
If somebody brought in a set of armor with something like this:composite helm, 58 / 49 / 245, then you got a 45% slice on encumbrance, it would lower it 45% of what it was before. So take the numbers, lets just use the 245 as the example (which btw, would be VERY hard to get unsliced). 245 x 55% (whats left after the 45% is taken away)... or 245 x 0.55... you'd have a helm with an encumbrance of 135 (dont we all WISH!).
For effectiveness... its the same thing. If the base is say 60%, and you slice it for 35%... then its 35% MORE over the 60%.....but not 35% + 60%... its 135% of what the 60% was (100% of the 60% would be 60%). So it'd go like this, 60% x 135% (you have to keep the oringal amount of 100% in the math)... or bascially 60 x 1.35 .... which would be 81% now. So it would jump from 60% to 81%. not 95%.
Understand? I'm just trying to help, not attack ya.Ignorant people can be helped. Thats what im doing.

Oh! Well in that case, Caylin strangles a bunny. I hear he's given up on slicing altogether and has taken up bunny-strangling full-time!!
