when you like swg how it is now, good for you, if not you should quit now because it will not be any better. or try an other profession, maybe you will find some fun there (no more jedi please grrrr) its no fun btw
i already grinded some jedi boxes but surrendered them all, destoy my LS and that stupid looking robe to be smuggler again...
and remember it is just a game
im afraid that if smugglers do get put on the terms, this board will look like the jedi one....
Except for two facts:
1. We've been asking to be on the terms for years. If boldface, italics, and underlining aren't enough, I can colorize it, too.
2. Getting on the BH terms as a smuggler would be a voluntary risk in taking a mission. You want a heap of spice to disappear between the pickup and dropoff? Fine. Make sure that the "cancel mission" popup notes the fact that you are going to be shot at repeatedly by players for a while if you do so.
3. It is never going to happen anyway, so we may as well discuss beer and pie.
Sure, being turned into WoW templates is great for the SL and the CH, and having your entire profession ripped away and replaced with ninja is great for the Ranger. I'm 'happy' for them getting the attention they needed.
But I'm much happier that SOE has convinced me to never play one of their games again, because that way when the other brainless cows meekly walk to the slaughter and accept the dumbed down, neutered 'smuggler' delivery missions that will be handed out like some sort of saving grace, I'll be free of the addiction induced delirium and be able to see the game still being not even a sorry shadow of the hopeful dream it once was. Or when even that is yanked away and replaced with only more spins and lies from the uncareing money hungry monster that is SOE, I will not have any more hopes to destroy, because I wouldn't have been foolish enough to believe the promises that they again gave only to break.
However, on behalf of the broken souled sheep that are mostly all that remain, I thank you for your pity.

And I thought I was bitter....
Yeah, I don't think it would ever get as bad here since we don't lose exp. We'd probably lose some sort of "underworld ranking" but that wouldn't be so bad... we did fail after all.

Nah...last ditch is gonna go a long way for the smugglers I think. As far as the other posts regarding the SL, Ranger upgrades I agree they were borked but Smugglers have been promised a revamp waaaay before they were. As an ex-smuggler I just think the Dev's dropped the ball by putting this thing off for this long and then redirecting the focus to the other 2 proffesions. Perhaps that is unfair to look at it this way but for as long as Smugglers have been promised a revamp I feel tofocus on the 2 other profession revamps before they complete the smuggler revamp is a smack in the face. Dont get me wrong, I think the Devs are on the right track and do a good job but I think Smuggler should have been given more attention. As far as the Smugglers on the terms....I'll give you 5000 FP if you dont DB me or I'll split the spice with you if you dont DB me. Cant wait.
