Thread: HOW TO STACK/UNSTACK... its buggy but it DOES WORK

Last night they wouldn't stack, though I haven't tried toying with them at all. On a related note: Is there a limit to the component stacks? If there is none, that's very, very cool.
Ive got over 800 simple toolkits in a stack so if they're limited, its a high limit. Freed up 1800 database entries and inventory/vendor space and I am sooooo happy bout it.
Tried dropping everything on the floor, putting stuff in an equipped pack, pack in inventory, toolboxes in my house, in the bank, can't get any other pieces to stack.
Even the other stacks I have won't give a stack/unstack option.
Some are parts I bought which are pre-22, and there are a few that I converted right when the first patch went in, but they wouldn't stack so I quit converting.
After they fixed, if you will, the patch I started converting again and most of them stacked but not all.
I love this 'let's add a new buggy patch every week' schedule they've got now.
I remember the good 'ol days when there used to be a QA team, the patch was on TC for a week or so, and they didn't push patches out with major bugs in them.
Well, they did occasionally, but not every patch.

Finally found a way but you need at least one recently looted component to get the stack option.
I kept 2 crates of auks/wuks and in the bank. I salvaged the 4 crates and was able to stack them, from those newly made components I was able to stack my older ones.
But it DOES NOT WORK between older components. Even some older ones that were stacked. I had a stack of 4 reactive micro plating that just would not stack until I introduced one I that I salvaged today.
Getting a fresh loot from patch 23 and dropping it into the bag full of unstacked parts DOES work. The problem is just finding a fresh loot. I managed to get everything but my SAPs and finely crafted toolkits to stack. Still haven't found a fresh loot of those two yet. ![]()
This still doesn't change the fact that SOE once again lied when they said all slice comps would have the radial options. Clearly they didn't test it with old drops like they said they did.

Glad you finally got it to work.
Isn't it nice to get everything to stack into nine different stacks? It's like autopulling from crates all over again. Other than the fact the number of clicks has increased slicing isn't the beast it used to be (after they "fixed" autopull).
