Well my personal Experiences with FD, this morning I Dueled my Level 1 friend's altand feigned a bunch to make it seem like I was dying. then we decided to actually duel each other with melee (he couldn't do damage and i couldn't do too much)

Every time I feigned he couldn't do anything, but I've heard certain moves can Break FD. anywayFD has worked in combat for me so far. But my FDFails 'bout 25% of the time.

Not sure if this works on FD but Startle Shot from Rifleman is a Posture Up attack and I find that many times Rifle using NPCs will drive me to standing on my melee toon (I take a knee when fighting to help control my action).

Also, even when your dead, and you get downer effects of spice, you stand up and hack your lungs out...
