1. Do something about Master Smuggler - it is currently an empty box. At least write in the slice bonus that already exists but is undocumented, and add SOMETHING - a new spice (can't be awfully difficult), a decent bonus to combat, ANYTHING.
2. Give us a boost to one or more combat moves - smugglers are pittiful in combat, and you can't ask us to suffer for another six months gimped like this.
3. Implement any-planet to any-planet smuggler tickets. Crossing from, say,Lok to Dantooine is becoming a nightmare - flying from Lok to Naboo to Corellia to Dantooine - kill two birds with one stone here and satisfy those who hate starship transfers until they can fly themselves in JTL while giving smugglers something valuable to sell.

While a few minor fixes would be welcome, the only thing that will placate me is communication.
Communication entails more than just spewing a bunch of garbage about being overworked and they'll get to us when the time is right. Communication is not a single lackey gracing us with his presence in these forums to request yet another 'vision' document.
The developers must come here and 'communicate' their vision to us. We thendiscuss the ideas while they monitor and interject thoughts, constraints, limitations, and further guidance. Then, when it comes time for the revamp, we're all on the same sheet of music and have a mutualunderstanding of where we're going.
Of course, since I highly doubt this is how it works in the SOE Austin offices where they are paid to do it, I have no hope of it happening here, which is why I hold out zero hope that a worthwhile revamp will happen.
I think they are calling us more of a space profession because they would have to piss off the player base by making things illegal that they have had for 'free' since launch. So instead of doing it 'right' for a profession that never got fully tested yet was released with the 'originial game' (which is what really slammed the door on us ever getting ground based smuggling in the first place) they are going to attempt to add it in the se since there is no 'freebies' to use as precedent in space if the players whine. (yea, smugglers got cornholed for another 30 bucks if they ever want to do what their title says)
Besides it has been made painfully obvious by the multiple requests for revamp docs that they don't read the ones already done. And to make matters worse we have been labled as 'more of a space profession' yet they are hush hush about how that will impact us (check out the 19 questiosn thread) so how in the hell can we give ideas when we don't even know how space will work? Anyone else find the irony here? The answer is we can't until jtl is done and we can see first hand how the system works.
ALot of professions in this game need some serious help as soon as possible but SMUGGLERS are the only profession in this game who does not do what their TITLE says. We aren't bug ridden like some of the others. We are just friggin palceholders for crappy buffs, gcw perks, pistoleer specials, and item modifications with a name that doesn't fit our skill sets until jtl and maybe not even then.
2. Put a disclaimer system message up when a player trains the novice smuggler box. Let them know it's a space profession so it isn't finished, hasn't been finished since beta, and won't be given any attention except for nerfs until se comes out and the se bugs are squashed a year later. Least a little truth in advertising would be nice for a change.
Han Solo my ass, this game may say star wars but I haven't spotted a smuggler yet have you?
