Thanks everyone. I know things will get better. Right now, people keep asking me "Where's Smi?" and I get all depressed. Soon the word will have spread around and I will have time for myself to deal with things, though.

I was so happy tonight for the first time in a long time. I had just completed some pilot missions and I had landed in coronet to cash in on some loot. Well as soon as I hit the ground I was bombarded by tells. I counted 7 people who wanted weapons sliced. I was so excited, its been alllllllllllloooooooooonnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggg time since I had that many people in a small duration who needed my service.This is no joke, they were lined up/coming in from all over/ lined up per tell. Well make a story short, I was pretty good with the bulk clients, ie the guys with several items. The part that killed me was the customers with one item... They all wanted damage slice and my luck was speed. I felt so bad, of course I charged a lower price. I guess I am beating a dead horse here. I am posting a post that has been echoed time and time again.... I just hope a dev will read this. Please keep in mind that the idea of choosing a slice is still on the minds of some smugglers.(hopefully all) I can only speak for myself. But I would like to hear more input, even if you posted on other posts. I still would like to hear your posts.

I can't do anything about that. It's an Angelfire site that's free cause I'm a cheap bum and I refuse to fork over money for that sort of thing. So Angelfire puts random banners on there....you can see a lot of Star Wars merchandise ads and stuff too most of the time.
And...btw....my apologies to CudaScout. My fault for the hijack...

Why do you charge less for speed slices? you're not responsible for what happens, why not reimburse them of their weapon too?
They gamble, they ALWAYS win an improvement, they use your time the same way, you charge them the same way.
That's why i don't slice publicly anymore, and the rare times i do wear my title and get asked i charge 10k flat, whatever they say. You are selling services you an't have any influence upon, why should you depend on the results to earn your living?

I logged on to check my harversters, (I don't realy play anymore till CU or smuggler revamp) I head to coronet cause I can't find any fusion and get a single tell about 5minutes after landing and cruising looking for a spawn of rad. You know the smuggler gods hate you when any spawn over 60% is within coronet city limits, in a sea, or among a bunch of badly placed pc house and there's no chance of fiting 6 mines down. Well I get a tell that goes like this...
guy: hay
me: straw
guy: could you slice some weapons for me.
me: Well the thing is if you had said armour then I would have probably said yes but unfortuanly I haven't the tools for weapons.
guy: What about if I fetch you a crate of WUK (Are someone that know's about the profession

I can't not slice for this guy)me: Well I'm dropping mines down atm, how about I meet you in coronet in 10 minutes, if you supply the clamps I'll only you charge you 5k. (me feeling generous for once as I just sold 1.5million worht of resources the night before and spending it on nothing.)

)Anyway I manage to squeeze my 6 mines into a PC city with no zoming rights, they're going to get a nice surprise seeing fussion plants around their town squere but it's their own damn fault Zoom back to coronet.

guy: Sorry haven't found any wuk yet
me: you tried the bazzar? (me runs off to bazzar to check)
guy: no was going to get you a crate.
note: I can't believe people in coronet fall for the line "sorry don't have any tools"
me: okay I got a crate.
guy: me to owm.
I wait 2 mintues he gives me a 6 rifles
guy: I hope for a speed slice

I holds down the right mouse button + D and spin around three times and then + A to spin around the other way three times (eq controls)
guy: lol what you doing?
me: my lucky spin.
long story shot the spin worked 28% speed on a laser rifle and 33% damage on a spray stick (near perfect slices

hmmm when we can choose what to slice....slicing prices go up up up! me like....and i think its only fair...cuz people still pay stinkin 15k for buffs...insane....but complain about a 6k slice....slice = life of weapon buff = 3hrs hmmmm.....maybe i dont see the problem here.....but i'd say the slice is a better buy...especially when you can get 21k in about 3-4 trips on ur own even from dant hehe

I logged in today and got a "I'll pay you $50k for a slice" ...
I replid "Ok, but I need to craft my tools...so it will take a little longer.
Pulled out my droid, took out the copper in there, the crafting tool in there & crafted a clamp, then crafted PKLs ... slice (28% DMG I think) ... gave weapon back to customer, collected $ 
... put copper, crafting tool, and remaining 8 PKLs back in the droid
