Just mastered smuggler for the 9th time, 3rd time on this particular toon.

I kept getting mad at the devs for delaying the revamp in case anyone was wondering why on earth I've put myself through this 9 times.
On a more positive note, I was able to manage it in less than 48 hours this time... I guess practice makes perfect (?).

Why cant we modify badges to reflect how many times, or possibly how long, we have mastered a profession. I would like to see the master smuggler badge reflect the 16 months I have been master, altho badges are pretty much pointless, seeing as most people only read them at starports waiting for the 10min shuttle anyways 
Just me looking for a shred of attention 
I've been a smuggler so long that I doubt I could play this game as anything else.

And Jabourn, I did basically the same thing as you. I guess it may actually have been around the same amount of time grinding everything out, I just didn't do it all at once.
