Thread: Why do jedi get everything they ask for?

Uma...one or two of us have been around longer than you have and have heard whining from jedi...dang near the entire time they have existed.
Well sir, to answer your question, I am on YOUR boards because I came here to see what I could learn about the new slicing system, I was once a smuggler myself. I, in fact, found very little about the smuggling profession, I found several threads about Jedi, including this one. The fact that your smuggler forums chose to impune the honor of my current profession gives me every right to comment on YOUR boards. You might also notice that the Jedi Forum has many many more total posts than that of any profession, largely because it is littered with the posts of non-Jedi. In short, your question about my presence here has a simple and obvious answer, and is pointless and irrelevant in either case.
And as for the impressive length of your tenure here at SWG, kudos to you...again irrelevant though. I don't recall making any sort of claim about being the most veteran person in the galaxy. Likewise, I don't recall claiming that Jedi don't whine, they most certainly do. However the suggestion that they whine dramatically more than other folks is unsubstantiated, especially when we are now posting on a thread by a smuggler whining about Jedi. And lastly, mine was a response to the original post: no, jedi do not get everything they want.
I hope this clears some things up for you.

You found VERY LITTLE about the Smuggling Profession in here because there is VERY LITTLE in the Smuggler Profession. You want to know about slicing? Then go HERE
Anything else related to Smuggler... oh wait, there is nothing else. Good Day.

that's right jedi don't get everything they want. remember the four grievous arms with 4 lightsabers? or what about the rainbow colored multi-elemental damage blades?
see? they don't get everything they want! (just 99%)
/shake silly person.
That thread was written by a smuggler trolling the Jedi forums...

I agree with you totally, and that seems like a much more useful topic of conversation than whether or not Jedi get everything they want.
And I will say one last time, no they don't, though perhaps they should. From an economic standpoint it would make sense, since virtually everyone who started playing this game, did so because of a interest in Jedi. How many of you picked up a copy of SWG and said to yourselves, "Awesome! I want to make two useful spices, get to pretend that I'm dead, and learn all the languages without going through all of the trouble of having someone 'teach' them to me. It's going to be super!" Or how about, "I can't wait to spend hours flying around the galaxy looking for concentrations of resources!", Or, "I want to dance my heart out in the cantina with a bunch of AFK noobs just looking for an easy grind....or to dance their way to Jedi....."
That is all, I'm going to play the game now. Couldn't we all be doing something more rewarding with our time?
