With the huge patch that one is, I would not have grumbled or made comments at all if they haven't respected their 2 weeks goal. Getting it out bug free (or near bug free) is well worth a few days more of waiting.

This was brought up when they announced their two week goals since the last couple patches had some major bugs go to live with them. They seemed to be more concerned with pushing stuff out faster than they did about lack of bugs. I think it all comes down to them trying to get as much into the game as possible to try to keep people with the game and maybe even attract some people back.

The funny thing is that they're hoping the new system will bring more PvP, but I've already seen the posts saying it's still the same since the combat system is still the same.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

Yeah, there appears to still be a ton of testing and fixing to be done on this publish.

And it's in Live. Yippee. I'm afraid to even log on today, since I've been on TC and know how buggy everything, including the TEF system (and especially the BH/Jedi TEF) is. I honestly thought that this publish would come not next week, but the week after that.

I still don't think it was ready...

But, I wasn't awake at 2:45am this morning to see what the last patch to TC did.

So, I guess I'll find out when I can get in game later today.

I do this every patch day, so I know what to expect when I get home to play. It's served me well so far...

I think I may hijack the DSL connection here at work today and log in for a few minutes to see what's going on...(I brought my personal laptop to work..*shifty eyes*...and my boss is out of town). There's only one other person who uses that DSL connection, and I don't even think she's in the office today, so I should be safe...

Well I'm grinding my alt today. I'm not even going to try and get into anything complicated til I see what the outcome of the publish on live is.

Can they stop beating on us smugglers and start beating on Squad Leaders instead? OMG THEY ARE OVERPOWERED.

Its like going to an amusement park and having a group of rogue Llamas preventing people from getting on a ferris wheel or a roller coaster. People going to the amusement park expect animal control to come in and remove the rabid Llamas.
