Zodiac is obvious lost and clueless... Let him be that way. The people who know the difference come to a master and those that don't can suffer from their own stupidity.
That may seem a little harsh but I've been a master since Oct '03 and these new upstarts are begining to annoy me.
They havent lived through the devs actions for the last 2 years so they have zero voice in my opinion.

I think it's the "I know for a fact" that bugs people, Ive always been the first to say "I don't know what Im talking about" on issues Im lost on (jedi for example).

I do that on all matter of things. That way it doesn't come back and bite you in the butt if you give out information. I have all sorts of people in-game ask me questions on all sorts of matter. Appraently I'm a font of knowlegde that I have no idea on. Usualy I just make it up as I go along 
Slicers can only get 30% on damage, speed weapon slices and effect on armour. I believe they can get 40% on encumbrance but I'd have to check on that one.

Apparently there's not much need to join the pile-on for this poor punk. I haven't seen him come up for air yet.

I think the basis for his mistake is misinterpretation. I think the CSR/Dev was trying to tell him a master has no more additional chance of getting a good slice over a bad slice, which is true. The only difference is the range. This person asked unknowingly asked the wrong question. The fact is we all have the same chance of getting a 20% speed slice, like I got several in a row last night...the rest of his posts are pure BS he's making up to bolster his misconception, which he doesn't realize.

i would say just slap him... the amount of hassle i get doin slices just because the other dumb a** s im dealing with r so uneducated.... i try to explain everthing to my customers before goin ahead i even have it in my bio and the amount of times ive read all the slicing outcomes as im slicing away just to be told "well thats about the worst f' ing set of slices ive ever had on a set of armour blah blah blah" then they storm off in a sulk you stupidly follow and ask why just to be told " my buddy is a smuggler and the last time he did it for me he gave me all effectivness slices i didnt want ecumb ones" im like smack i have no control over it and they still rant on that i do....eyeyeyeye

Not defending Zodiac at all, but you do make a good point. I myself was playing SWG long before I signed up for the Forums. It has been a mixed blessing...I have indeed learned a lot about the game and how to enjoy it more, but I also didn't realize how much was "broken" until I started reading the Forums....it seems a lot of folks aren't happy no matter what SOE does LOL. But overall, the Forums have been a positive experience for me.

But overall, the Forums have been a positive experience for me. - yep I have a lot of friends who stay away from the forums becausethe forumscan be one big cry fest where no one is ever happy but in the same respect Ive met and now have some great friends from the Smuggler and eclipse forums. I just try really, really hard not to post in the flame forums but sometimes I just cant help it.
