No way we get a revamp in 2 months. More like 6. And that's only because JTL actually looks semi-solid right now. (Not to say there aren't problems, just not obviously crippling ones.)
We were told there wouldn't be any smuggler stuff at JTL's release, though, so at least they didn't mislead us for once.

funny... I seem to see that the combat revamp is ahead of us, and that still has an "ETA undetermined/after JTL" tag on it.... you know something the rest of us dont?

A few months ago I had the privlige to talk to Mr. Blackman at Comic Con here in San Diego. He was intrested in my thoughts on my 2 professions SMUGGLER and PISTOLER. He said all resources were TIED up with JTL and JEDI.
As far as Im conserned Jedi has been FIXed, and JTL is being shiped VERY SOON. So now they should be able to do the combat revamp and smuggler revamp at the same time.
key questions i asked.
Q. will we finaly be able to smuggle?
A. yes
Q. will we be able to modify ship with smuggler?
A. yes eventualy
Q. Is pistoler the only one thats going to get duelwield?
A. no, we want to give it to BH, pistoler, swordsman, tka
Q. why give it to BH AT ALL?
A. jango fett used it
Q. is it concievable that Jango fett was part pistoler?
A. good point ill keep it under consideration
Q. are pistolers ever going to get a powerful pistol shot?
A. in the combat revamp
Q. are smugglers going to get upgraded combat skills?
A. im not sure, its posable were realy not sure what to do with the profession
that last answer is the key they made this profession but wernt sure what to do with it at launch, thats why its incompleete, and they still dont know what to do with it now. our population chunk is not large, and basicly unorganized. ive been a smuggler sence i gave up commando in feburary, thats a long time to stick to one profession just cause its kinda cool. and i know there are people that have waited longer.
just hummor me lets protest for a bit and see what happens maybe we can get a reply. that would be real nice.

how does a swordsman dual wield a two handed weapon effectively? I am sorry I am a master swordsman and a master smuggler and a dual wielding swordsman seems silly. i will do it if they give it mind you...but really

To be honest I see only 4 "cool" things about this profession atm, not counting the fact that the "coolest" char in the movies was one of us, because I'm sure even he couldn't smuggle in this game and not counting RP since you can RP a smuggler without the skill box too since there is no skill you could use to make it look like you "smuggle"... And these things are:
- Feign Death
- Low Blow
- Last Ditch
- and the community!
Everything else is... well... let's talk about something else...

he probably meant fencer not swordsmen , i think that fencedr's duel weilding was mentioned on some other thread. but your right how can you duel weild a 2 handed weapon .... unless your a wookie with big hands....lol

I hate that this is my first post since getting back here from a brief hiatus, but here's my protest:
I went from 10k to 15k after the crate pull. Not as a protest, but because it took longer. Not much, but I handed out slices for free until I hit master, so I felt like kicking it up to make up some of the credits.
My prices from here on out will be 25k, and I'll probably increase it 1k everytime someone tries to tell me off for jacking up my prices (I may even list each player that causes me to increase in my profile). Why am I setting my prices higher in the first place, to create awareness. If someone asks me why so much, I'll tell them. If they don't like it, they can go somewhere else. If they want to get beligerent, the price gets higher.
I hope they report me at this point. I stay with this game because of the title, because ever since UO came out, I dreamed of playing in the Star Wars universe. I picked smuggler because it's fun to be a good guy that loves to do the bad thing. I'm giving them til the revamp, or at least until the revamp gets blindsided for another unexpected need to publish something else. Then it'll be the cancel button.

hmmmm 15k per slice sounds mighty nice when someone brings you a full suit of armor hehehe
baaaaaa i dont care either way as long as the message gets out that WE NEED HELP IN THIS PROFESSION!!!!!!!!!!
oh and go ahead and single star me Im not here for the stars, Im here cause it the right thing to do. IN FACT THE LOWER MY SCORE IS THE BETTER ILL FEEL!!!!!!!!! LOL
