Thanks in advance.

I'm on Bloodfin I charge 5K, free if it's under 20%. Usually works out pretty good,a lot ofpeople tip well if it's upper 20s and above. A lot of people don't. I hate to sound like a capitalist bastage, but there aren't a lot of us on Bloodfin. Several people tell me that it's hard to find a smuggler. I was thinking of increasing my prices to reflect demand. Does anyone charge more than 5 or 6K? How do people respond to that?
MINIONS OF XENDOR!!!!!
Shame on you, Cabbage! You are never supposed to slice for free! The only extenuating circumstances for that would be your best friends or maybe guildmates. You can not effect the outcome of your slices so why should you pay for it? That's a terrible thing to do. I was under the impression that that practice went out 2 months before 100 credits per percent increase!
I'm on a very low population server (Tarquinas) and one of a few "public" MasterSmugglers (Master Smugglers that use their skills outside offaction point salesand PA activities) and I charge 10k if I need the cash...12-15k per slice if I just get stopped.
And you're on Bloodfin? Last I checked, I thought that was a decent sized server. Here are my recommendations:
- Up your prices. 5k minimum...try 8-10k for all slices regardless of outcome. You can't help the randomness.
- If you're a Master, charge even more forLocked Containers. Encourage people to seek out Novice Smugglers who actually need the experience.
- Up then prices! Upcharge! You've been nerfed/borked with a Slicing autopull bug. It's harder than it should be for you to perform the work needed...so charge more.
Get what you're stuff is worth, man. Even your 15-25% speed slices on weapons will add about 15-25k credits to the cost of a weapon from a Sliced Items vendor from a Weaponsmith. Why should you be getting the short end of the stick?
You're not price gouging. You're simply getting what your service is worth to the economy. Plain and simple.
Not bad for first day on the job.
A RL friend of mine has recently mastered AS and WS on Bloodfin so I imagine he'll keep me pretty busy as well.
6k seems like a fair price, for now, with anything under 17% being free. I don't have a problem with "giving away" my service if the result is very poor - in fact it may be something that small/minute that would make a one-time customer a repeat customer. They can be your best and worst advertisement.
On a less happy note, I had someone trying to indoctrinate me into FP purchasing/delegating, which I have absolutely no knowledge of. Very pushy, rude, and demanding. I can see my ignore list becoming rather large.
