Well not really. I found a shortcut to being a Jedi thats only do able by Smuggler's with language comprehension. It's fairly easy tho to get started. It starts in Keren on Naboo, near the hotel is the Imperial PA building. On the bottom floor in a side room is a hologram of the Emperor. You talk to the hologram and he speaks some ancient language, thats what's described as anyways when I did it. My sister tried it and she only saw jibberish. Anyways, after you talk to the Emperor he says that he will make you like the Jedi of the past, then you should see a flash of light. Presto you will be like the Jedi you see in the prequel movies.

If thats the case no root should stick after damage..Including the almighty jedi..sounds like we got a jedi troll on ourforum.And i thought they were all on the BH forum.

lol, i just read a thread on the Jedi forums and they said that u have to use an exploit to get into the cell for the mission (unstick)
and that they are going to start keeping people from doing the quest over and over and over again anyone else heard this?

Yes I a MBH/M.Smuggler can solo a DJM in under8 minutes, assuming I can keep the chain root going. To do this, Ive needed a insane amount of accuracy (otherwise I miss WAY to often to chance getting a 28k dmg hit). I have FS, Ranged Accuracy IV, an I use some silly +222 accuracy drink when Im about to reapply my root... Works pretty well, but it needs a bit more lub than just getting M.Smuggler...
There are nightsisters out there shoulder to shoulder, an the hillspose a major line of sight issue. Also if you don't use a rifle to keep at 65m your going to wet yourself the first time you see how fast these wankers can close distances.
Id say, if this is the only reason your getting Smuggler, your going to be disappointed, this quest is currently (for obvious reasons) getting a LOT of attention. You best believe SOE is going to be fixing this soon, to either tone down the drops, the jedi and/or finally fix our root... So your jedi hunting willmost likely be short lived.The only professions I see out there are insane M.Defenders with glow sticks, an smuggler builds...

I've been thinking of using that from now on when nerfherders come in here saying stuff like "Don't you guys think you should have LD nerfed?" or the ever popular "Smugglers should be a jedi side-kick"

Well, since I have MS/MBH I can tell you that I hvae NOT been able to kill a DJM. Or any other full templated jedi yet. I've had some nice long fights with them, but in the end they always get me. So I can't say that this template is the uber jedi killing template. And if they have that 1500 heala pop skill, you can forget it because you won't be able to get concussion shot to hit everytime before they manage to get you KD'd and down to nothing in no time flat. I quit pvp'ing just recently on the ground because of the jedi and the fact that I feel like I have no chance. And I feel i'm a decent enough pvp'er to hold my own. But then again, i'm a Smuggler, what do I know?
