In the current CURB system, contrary to what was promised, there's just not enough skilss (especially CC and Position Control-related) to go around... It's very different from what was expected - professions now have just one or two specials that are actually in line with their role descriptions, and I don't see how giving redundant specials to different professions can be a good thing in such a system. Adding new ones to further strenghten the profession roles, yes... but cloning the current ones and distributing them all around?

First of all, there should be some post-CURB vision document for each profession officially released, because... well, modifying each one individually without a larger plan will just create FOTMs, overpowered professions and unneeded nerfs. That's a large part of what got us into the whole mess in the first place, wasn't it?

But Jedi have variations of pretty much all combat/healing profession-specific skills in their various sub-profession trees. They are... "special", remember? (Seriously, that's why they weren't even in the CURB diagram, their template defines the role really.)

Looking at the discription of concusion shot the planned changes seem fair especially since a 40 sec root would be very lethal against a lot of players.

I would love them to revisit reckless shot, panic shot andlow blow (kd please) i wouls also add overwhelming shot because after testing it and testing it to see if the states land more often i have come to the conclusion it has no effect what so ever.

Yes by all means change concussion shot to "working as intended" but while your at it how about looking at the other specials.

Cant Rate it until I can play it. Until its live only god knows what mezz will be like, we could see any thing to 40 sec root that cant do anything to 5 sec root that cant do anything. Hack, we may shot them and they walk around like a chicken for all we know or dance a jig. But were all Smugglers so we will find a way to use it one way or the other.

Or we'll get pissed because we got shafted once again, then drown our sorrows in beer and pie while waiting for the Devs to neuter our beloved profession once again...

Just saying... it could happen.
