Yes, I've been MSmuggler since the beginning along with Master Medic and the rest in Pistoleer.

I've just given up the medic for BH and am nearly at BH 3040 and Pistoleer 0040.

Actually quite a few smuggler-bh types around.

Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie, Two years of "Soon"(TM), a harsh bunch of lies.

BH gives you more speed, the scatter, torso shot, and eye shot. All very very good.

Pistoleer gives defenses, the geo pistol, the DE-10, and a great AOE attack along with a formiddible random HAM high damage shot.

If you are willing to sacrifice speed and some specials for defense, go pistoleer. If you are willing to sacrifice some good defense, a melee knockdown, and pistol certs for speed and a great DOT, go BH.

Game mechanics aside...

Everyone seems to believe tha Bounty Hunters are all agents of the Imperium, or always act in that capacity.

The fact of the matter is that Bounty hunters are generally just another variety of scum. They frequently take jobs from private organizations or individuals. That's kidnapping (or murder in the case of SWG, since there is no such thing as a capture). Just as no "free trader" in their right mind would turn down a highly profitable, if illegal, cargo, neither will any bounty hunter turn down a lucrative offer, regardless of the legality. It's all part of the profession.

So, yes, Smuggler/ BH is fine, really.

I honestly don't think much of. I guess since a lot of people are coming back for the Combat Upgrade they should probably read some of the recent upgrades as far as TEFs and faction status and all that. Get yourself updated But glad you're back...I'm assuming.

Well it would be nice if they put in smuggling for playersof some type. Lord knows we've been asking for it long enough.

This idea is a variation of other ideas we've had over the past two years.

It really isn't much different than the original concept SOE had for player made missions way back before beta. Unfortunately those player made mission were what hooked me on SWG and, like much SOE does, have never materialized.

What an excellent idea! I'm going through the process now of working on a Smuggler toon as Raxis on Starsider and hope for more content for the profession like this.
