No it isn't legal.
I know Taurin and the other devs know about this and they have told me they just haven't gotten around to fixing it yet.

Known abusers are still in the game. But it is always better to err on the side of caution. Being able to point out other people that have abused and not been banned will be no defense I'm afraid.

As for possible punishment, well, I cant think of a more appropriate time to ask, seeing as the boards are currently overflowing with posts about the current "ban". Considering this one and the last big round of bans, it seems to me the devs like to wait untill they have a fix before banning everyone they have been watching exploit. I'm sure when they fix this there'll be a ban session too.

Quite frankly I am sick and tired of seeing you noobs try to find loop holes and argue over things that are clearly an exploit.
85% of the community has told you it is an exploit. We have been playing for over a year. The Dev's have said it. The Correspondent has said it. MOST CSRs have said it.
If you want to EXPLOIT... go ahead. If I catch it, I report it ... and I hope you get banned like the credit-dupers. If it is worth the risk to you, fine ... do it. Don't cry when you are banned saying 'nobody told us'.

Bannings wont help, if even CSRs declare it a non-bannable offense (and I am quite sure they did NOT ask another CSR for a second opinion).

How the bloody hell is Geevo naive? It's a known exploit, we have said it's an exploit till we are blue in the face. I'm sorry you loose millions in slicing cause people want you to exploit slice but that's the way it is. If you want to make money you can still sell faction (bloody lucrative), do missions like everyone else, or loot farm. If you are saying 'but Fish , I'm just a smuggler I can't do big money missions or kill the mobs that drop good loot' then I have just one responce. You have enough SP left over after you master smuggler to master one and in the case of the smuggler/pistol/TK build master three. with that template you can rip through big money missions and kill all the high level MOBS you want. So really, less typey typey, more hunty hunty!

I have only had one customer not come to me because I refuse to use the EXPLOIT. Ya know what I did ... I REPORTED THEM and advised CSRs to keep an eye out.
As for making money, I think I have enough to not worry about it ... but even if I didn't, I still would not exploit. Never have, never will.

Had my first customer come to me asking for a "special slice"- I promptly informed them that this was an EXPLOIT, and I wasn't going to risk my account. Later they came back looking for a normal slice- I guess none of the other smugglers in cnet were willing to exploit that day. Go honest Smugglers!
