Heh...it's not just an inventory issue...

I started grinding a little bit of Tailor last night on my alt. And finding the right schematic number to put in my crafting macro was a pain...

Used to, all you had to do was open you datapad, then just count the schematics starting with 0 at the top-left and moving left to right and down...

I don't know what kind of order they're in now...but it doesn't seem to be any kind of rational / logical order that I can see.

Plus...I logged in this morning for a little bit...and what WAS DraftSchematic 72 last night was DraftSchematic 13 this morning...

I haven't had to deal with the Slicing yet. I swear they're just trying to run everybody out of the Smuggler profession...

THAT'S WHAT IT IS THEN!!!

A Stealth Macro Nerf!!!!

It's a crappy attempt at a nerf then...

It may take longer to figure out which schem to use...but once you figure it out, it's back to grinding again with no problems...

Took me 30 minutes this morning to find that it had moved from 72 to 13...can't wait to see where it bounces to when I log back in tonight...

And that's just using the Clothing / Armor crafting tool (which, I discovered only has 87 schems at the moment). I'd hate to see where that schem was on a Generic Crafting tool which I would have to sort through hundreds of schems to find the right one...

I'm sure some of you have found this little work around for slicing but for those of you who haven't. Open up your inventory before you start the trade, your clients stuff will still drop in at the end. And remember when smugglers get nerfed smugglers adapt.

They keep going like they are going and they are gonna run everybody out that have been playing 6 months and longer...which is what, about 50% of their current income?

Nah, you're taking it way to personally - the devs don't hate Smuggler's exculsively - they hate everyone!! Less players - Less problems!!

SWG goes under - hey they move to EQ2 - Simple!

Maybe they'll

consider that a crate is not a single object but 25 single ones, so that when you have a crate of AUK, a crate of MC and a crate of PLK you can't carry anything else in the inventory?

Don't give them ideas.

Man would that hurt.

Actually...if memory serves correctly...when the game first launched, factory crates counted as 5 inventory spots each. Somewhere either in Publish 1 or Publish 2...or maybe a hotfix in between, it was changed so that crates were only recognized as a single inventory slot.

Due to this new sorting bug that they've created, when I do decide to slice stuff (which is rare), I'm forced to keep everything in a backpack for whatever I'm looking at. I keep my knives/WUK's/AUK's/clamps in one backpack. I keep an empty backpack so I can trade it to whoever I'm slicing for, they put their stuff in the pack and it stays all together.

It's really a pain when I go into space. I used to go out with one person doing tier 4 missions. When you have a completely empty inventory, it makes managing your space loot much easier. I have a house that I run back to whenever I've filled up my inventory with loot. I keep 10 backpacks on me at all times labeled lvl 1-10 for re levels. It's the only way to be sure on things. I run it back to a house where I have 7 backpacks there, labeled lvl 3-10 (armor purposes). I sort everything I've looted when I land each time, and this at least makes it manageable. I'll go through each pack and see what is worth keeping, and mark everything worth keeping down in my notebook. I'll take a look by level at what I've already looted to be RE'd and that lets me know what sucky parts to keep. (bad parts generally mean lower mass). I get it sorted that way, and sell whatever I'm not keeping. When I get to the point where it's time to RE some components, I pile them all into my lvl 1 backpack (this is where I put what I know I'm not keeping) and head over to a shipwright. I'm sick and tired of having to go throught these workarounds, but we're being forced to do it al of a sudden... I can't count the number of times on one hand where I've dropped something that I've got equipped, and I'm seriously hoping that I don't drop my rebel ring (I'm imperial now).

There's always a simple workaround to everything, I know this by now from being brought up on Windows PC's, but it's getting ridiculous in SWG.

I don't know if this should go in chuckle for a smuggler thread. But like some of you the new loot system is messing with me. Last night I sliced some stuff. I forgot what exactly the customer passed over. Thought he passed me a republic blaster which I sliced for 35 damage. Told him. He said I didn't give you a republic blaster. His geo was sliced for 18 speed. Next customer I took note. However he had similiar named helm to me. Which I handed back to him. I then had to send a tell asking for it back. Made me look very silly.
