Beastruler if you mastered smuggler in two or three days dude, you either knew somthing I could never figure out, or have a lot of time on your hands bud! Between work, family, etc, etc, it took me a month to do it!! The pistol grind is somthing I NEVER want to do again.

I'm keeping smuggler. I like it. Its an outstanding addition to a guild if your guilded. Every guild has to have a master smuggler.

Well, I nevertried Smuggler myself, but I have been helping a good friend as he grinds his way to Jedihood. We have gone through 24 professions now, including smuggler, and I can tell you it was much easier than most, so I can understand where Beastruler is coming from. I think it tookmy friendthree days to master smuggler, although that was three days of steady work (summer break, don't you love it!), and much of it with me as a medic/fighter, tanking andkeeping him healthy while he worked on the pistol xp. He had enough locked containers and CDEF pistols to grind through slicing quickly and the crafting tree is a breeze (just try WEAPONSMITH - after that, ANY crafting is easy). But I do agree with you that smuggler can be a very useful addition to a group - for slicing if nothing else. And my doc/CM still uses spice on occasion, when I just cannot drink another brandy, so we stocked up on muon for the entire hour he was a master smuggler. Combatwise, though, smugglers do seem to need help. We did not spend much time playing with the combat moves, so I am no expert, but when your most useful combat move seems to be playing dead, something needs rebalancing.
