Good rule of thumb buy sliced. Alot of weapon/armorsmiths are already master smugglers to slice their own goods. Its better to just find the shop that does this, and then you cut one agonizeing step out of the equation.
You're not makingvery many friends in the Smuggler forum...
Fixed for truthfulness.

Beleive it or not I one hundred percent agree with you. When it comes to getting a product or service in game I would much rather deal with another player get to know them and so on, but the point I was makeing is its no about speed its being feasible. How easy is it for a player to say alright I went and bought a gun now I want it sliced. Then they spend three hours looking for a smuggler. All I said is that he can simply save alot of time by buying it already sliced.
I know exactly how the poster fealt. I deal with it alot when I get alot of wounds, and I go to find a medic or a doctor to patch me up, and I end up spending an hour just looking for someone to treat my wounds. Until I finally get fed up and go to a buffbot and paying a small fortune just to heal my wounds, because nobody has both medic ,and woundpacks. Heck sometimes you find a novice, and explain to them /tendwound and they look at you retarded.
Eventually I got to the solution It was better to carry wound packs on myself, and find a novice and give them the packs to use. There comes a point when you have to bow to the ridiculous. Like finding out that there are no smugglers anywhere to be found. Do you spend hours each week hunting a smuggler down, or do you just buy it sliced anyway, and skip the step.

Look guys I am not trying to be a jerk, but finding a smuggler sometimes is like finding a hundred dollar bill blowing down the street. In a bygone era you could go to any decent sized city and find a smuggler looking to take care of you. That was like a year ago. I can list off all the ultrarare professions in the game but do I need to.
Is it reasonable for a player to have to travel to seven or eight cities just to find one smuggler to slice a item. The point is logical since there are fewer freelance smugglers its just easier to buy a item presliced. Thats all there is to it. People are gettting mad because I am just being flat out honest.
Lets get past oh no my business will be undercut it already is. We hear it in this forum all the time. I am a smuggler just to cut for my pals. Who cares about the profession when it comes to others. Look at the poster he came to this message board, because he couldnt even find a smuggler to slice his stuff for him. Thats how bad it is.
Like I said its just easier to get it presliced. Otherwise your going to spend alot of time hunting down a slicer.
