make sure there is no space between toolbarSlot and 19, it should read /ui action toolbarSlot19

Thanks bro! I will put try that out tomorrow.

Hotdog, you are a genius lol Love the idea!

Or maybe a "I'm taking you with me!" yell? lol

Yeah, I try to incorporate conversation in all my macros. More for myself than anyone else.

When I use duelists stance, instead of using an alarm so I know to stand still before the loop kicks in again- Tevin says, "This'll just take a second."

When I used to use COB I would think out loud "I can feel the force...flowing through me!"

and my loot macro is this:

I'm personally disappointed in LD.

When I first used it on TC I thought it sucked. After reading on the forums how it is intended to work I tried it again... Same results.

You're better of healing yourself and bursting away than using LD.

I don't see how Last Ditch sucks... I mean, when I'm in PvP (except for supreme jedi) I plan my ENTIRE strategy around last ditch. With SynthSteak, Intimidate Shot, and Warning Shot, you can essentialy control your opponents damage output... What I mean by that, is a small, steady rate of damage... If you can get it to 200 damage per attack or so, you can just wait it out, keeping track of your health, and just last ditch your way to victory! I've used this on jedi (non-supreme ones, but level 80 still) and killed plenty of them. And if you both incap at the same time, you will usualy wake up before them, if not usecrapola creams or whatever they're called...

I've been reading some of your posts on the Starsider board, and you're dissapointed with everything.

Pre-CU I used Last Ditch all the time - and I do mean All The Time. My combat que was full of Last Ditch. It was effective, but it was boring. There was no strategy to its use - just Low Blow, good he's on the ground - now Last Ditch for the win! Now, though, Last Ditch really is what it is intended to be. It's that one, final chance to make it out in one piece. You flip a coin to see if you win or you lose - and when that coin shows tails, you lose bigtime. Is there anything that encapsulates the Star Wars Smuggler idea more completely then that?

As far as game balance goes, it's an intelligent choice. It is, if used right, the most powerful special in the game and as the most powerful special in the game it is very limited. If you have a problem with that then you're either unhappy that you can't spam it for the win or you're complaining about everything in the CU, be it good or bad. Last Ditch is a tactical move that now has tactical signifigance, and it goes great with a chat macro.

To the OP - yes, lately I've noticed that Last Ditch has been incapping me consistantly.

I totally agree with all that. I just beleive they sort of stealth nerfed it last patch.Because last week I wouldnt incap when using LD- I would drop to 5% health. Now I incap no matter what the situation. I can learn to deal with it I just wish they wouldnot be so stealthy if it was a nerf and come out and say we changed LD. But IDK. Maybe its kind of like how FD was preCU- buggy. I hope its just buggy and not astealth nerf but I'll deal w/ it regaurdless thanks to suggestions made in this thread.

Thanks for reading my other posts. =D

And no... I'm not entirely disappointed, if I were I wouldn't be posting here or playing.

It's nice that LD is now an actual last resort and not just another special with a name that would indicate otherwise. But it is random. Whenever I use LD rather at mid health or low health the damage output is totally random. 6k sometimes or just barely anything other times, either way you get incapped. For me it's not worth it. Before I take a random chance on something that will incapp me either way, I rather just burst run.

LD is a move that depends on personal preference. For me, I see better options.

I used it all night last night against Imperials. No, I did not ever get incapped from it. I'm pretty careful with my action bar though, and I never use my mind bar, so I wonder if it has something to do with the amount of action and/or mind you have left.

I was talking with PA bud last night about the move. I dueled him and he took me down to 400 health before I used it and it incapped him. We dueled again after we healed and this time he used it on me and he was automatically incapped.

So, I can verify that it does happen. It seems to be going from a Smuggler to Smuggler basis. I haven't found a common occurance yet.

I could understand why it would take ALL of your action points to use this skill, but to suck down all your HP as well.....kinda makes this a worthless skill. Yeah you may hit em.....but you are on the ground...incapped, to your own skill.

Ive tested LD in many situations, and it does seem liek something has changed...now when I use it, its almost like Im incapping myself to try incap or at least do massive damge against the targets.

now Im also a Master commado, and I treid to LD with a flame thrower....I hit three out of the four targets with 0 points with LD. The otyher one I missed completely

I've used FD alot and never have been incapped when it hits. Yes if you miss, you are in deep do do, but I have never been incapped from firing it. I have been incapped after I call for it and before it actually goes off.
