You can slice spice and that is the only way to earn and use faction points.

I was hoping to pop in and see a bunch of sarcastic comments and witty responses from the smugglers here...maybe even a............(pie)
Then I was going to discuss somethign completely irrelevant to your topic becuase it is after midnight and that means its THURSDAY and we all know what that means!
So back to my story,
I had the most fun this evening in theed. Went Combatant and tried to walk to the starport.
I'm Master Smuggler/Master shipwright so those stormies all over the place are kinda threatening.
And as I'm moving into the city my speeder gets disabled by same imps that ambushed me(loaded after i passsed them). I proceed to concussion them and then begin to "tactically withdraw to the starport" When i get within 50m of the starport I notive some "nova" or "elite" or both troopers standing at the door. I notive my roots are recharged so i root them before they even shoot at me. I burst into the starport and attempt to buy tickets "You cannot purchase ticket while incombat" CRAP!
Well the ones on the outskirts of city did not follow me but the level 61stormies did (i'm level 60). I concussion one and lead the other to the far end of the shuttle landing bay. I proceed to use body shot and reckless shot with placed shot. I pop a pixies sometime about now and heal myself up real quick as I notice the other guy begins to move. I then finish off the first and run back to the ticket term other guy in tow. I manage to finish him off there and buy my ticket hi-tailing it to the shuttle port.
(At this time i said "I wish concussion shot worked as a mez because I coudla mezzed them and ran away without having to shoot anymore..i woulda still been in combat but their rifles wouldn't have been able to hit me and I coulda ran away" so I'm looking forward to the fix)
It was tons of fun adn actually envigorating. I find being lower then Cl 70 makes the game more dangerous and mroe fun for me. but i'm a smuggler to the core and it woudln't be fun if it weren't dangerous and if i wasn't most likely going to die ...or at least have to attempt some sort of "last ditch" attack to save my life
