Thread: What Kind of Ship Do You Want...

There's bound to be some base "hit point" or "hull strength" or something on the ship frame however which can be experimented and like anything will vary depending on the crafter's number of experimentation points and the resources used.

I just hope that the "base" yacht isn't too far off of a "base" crafted multi-person ship.

What kind of smuggler would not want to fly an old, beatup YT-1300 ???? Gonna call her the Millenium Penguin.

Since it's looking like the chance for me to own a Star Destroyer of my very own is somewhere between not gonna happen and never, I want something that I can take other people in, not a single person ship. I havn't really decided what type beyond that.

At first I'd like to at least get a Yt-1300.. but keeping it depends on how much mods you can do to it. I played SWPRG from West End games for about 14 years, and that's what I always used.. so it would be nice just to have one again for a little while.

You think you can have more than 1 ship? Like you can with speeders now?

I hate it when it does that....

Since the YT2000 is not a choice, Renn will be flying around in the SoroSuub when cruising and a Dunelizard for more hazardous journeys.

It's a Headhunter all the way for my newest character addition Joraan.

As a smuggler a YT-1300 (imperial version)
As a imperial agent the tie-interceptor.
Sadly I have to choose which ships to pilot, so what will matters will be which ships I'll find on vendors first (price wouldn't matter - fp market is so rich...).

We'd better be able to. If I have to delete my Vetern Reward ship in order to have a player crafted ship ... heads will roll.

Definately a Dunelizard or Kimoglia and a YT. The YT (either one) for big smuggling missions,Hutt Fighterfor smaller and/or more dangerous ones.

While I am an Imperial Smuggler, I plan on having the Neutral Pilot certs. I have faith that the ships will be balanced, and the hutt heavy fighter just looks oh so good.

Something nuetral, as supposedly the Privateer prof may offer some of what Smuggler out to be. I don't want a YT-1300 though, as it's already played outAND everyone else will have one, which runs contrary to the supposed rarity of the Falcon. The YT-2400 ("Outrider") was neat, but personally I'd rather not have a pre-existing "hero" ship. The "Smuggler's Run" featured in the anniversary painting looks really interesting though! I could definitely go for that.

If transports don't materialize as particularly interesting (ie nothing to smuggle), I'll see if I can trick out an X-Wing. It struck a near-perfect balance in the X-W series, and is a childhoodfavorite. Screwing with it for better shielding and weapons loadouts would be a lot of fun.

Probably the Hutt Medium or Light ship.

Then eventually a YT-1300...if I can afford it.

Well my Smuggler was who my Jedi isso I am without a Smuggler until the exp comes out so I can make a character with one of the new races with my bonus slot. Though that said, when I get him up in Smuggler and JTL ship certs (Nuetral of course) he is going to have a frieghter, whichever are open to use. I know there been talk of the other YT being seen at conventions and the such but their is also talk of the Firespray being in there too. Unless they going to have more then 15 at launch one of them won't be in the game so I can't decide yet which I will fly until I know what I can fly. That said though I would like a Hound's Tooth myself and hopefully they add it to the game. It's a freighter but so much different in appearance then most YT's that it would look more unique and be more enjoyable of a craft for me to fly. Plus it looks more intimidating thenthefalcon ever could
