The message they are trying to send you is that you are not a damn hero. BH's have never been effective at controling the Jedi population. If you think you make a difference your kidding yourself. Im pretty sure even the Devs realize that by now. Jedi/BH missions are more or less just content for BH's. But you guys made such a big deal about not being able to kill a few Padawans who were too weak to put up a fight yet an it got Smugglers nerfed. So the best thing to do is just leave it alone.

In all fairness our complaints generally went along with suggestions that would have protected Smugglers. The Devs most certainly did NOT listen to us, they simply reacted. If they had listened to our valid complaints and suggestions, many of which were shared and borrowed between the BH and Smuggler communities, this "fix" never would have happened.
We wanted our profession fixed, not the Smuggler profession broken. We need to protest together about the fact that the Devs simply did not listen to anybody on this matter.

I understand what you say. I think it is fair to say there was both Jedi and BHs whinners wanting us nerfed, and both BHs and Jedi who actually were willing to discuss to find a compromise. I think painting whole professions with a wide brush is rarely fair. There have been a lot of that, out of anger.
I think the whole blame game is useless. Only give a target to vent anger, but it is not productive. My own opinion.

I don't blame the Bounty Hunters or the Jedi. I blame the Devs for not coming up with a more reasonable solution to the problem.
This problem really doesn't upset me at all. I don't PvP, so it doesn't impact my style of play in the least. To be honest, with a good set of comp armor and buffs, I rarely see a need to use FD.
I can see it from both sides. I can't fault the BH's or Jedi for picking up a skill from another tree because it benefitted them. If they have the skill points available, they have every right to pick up any skills they want. Just like I had the right to pick up the BH Pistol tree when I wanted some extra speed and accuracy, as well as to be able to use a Scatter Pistol.
I just wish the Devs would have given this fix a little more thought and maybe talked over some better solutions with the one profession that it impacted the most, us Smugglers.
