From the increase in postings about more and more customers requesting non-random slices recently this problem is slowly getting out of hand.

I can understand how this is an exploit. However, what I can't understand is how this is costing us millions of credits. If you can please be more clear on this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Sorry Sly,
I am not into reporting customers. I even understand that they want the best result for their weapon and that they think that the random system is not satisfactory. I would warn them that I made a screenshot and that if he tries it again with any smuggler I know and I hear about it it would go straight to a CSR.
I WOULD report smugglers that do exploit with powerups.

Sly,
what do you want to report ? "Hey CSR, someone asked me to do a special slice ! Kick him from the game."
Customers are not THAT stupid.

Hi:
I ave that experience too, however I am going to start a new way to act in order to deal with thte eploiters:
When he gives me the Power Up and he Gun and say "Here are the tools and I want a 30%+ slice", I will ask if he accepts my bio contract, once the trade is finish I consider he accept the contract (Is written on the contract), I make a normal slice and give back the Pwoer up and thte gun and ask for the cahs (BTW 50% credits up front).
Then he can report me for............. what avoiding an expoit.

So has a CSR or DEV actually confirmed this is a exploitand not just some random attempt at content? Because if you think about it slicing that way makes sense with you using the powerup's components to enhance the weapon you are slicing.

Yes it is confirmed that this is an exploit. Regardless of how easy it is to do or how it may seam to fit the profession, it is an exploit since the designers intended that the powerup be removed from the weapon during slicing.
