If you're not a friend of mine I'm charging 1 mil for full slice regardless of who provides the components... why?

Because I'mgetting my compensation for the abortion of a system they pushed on us. I'm getting my compensation for years of aggravation. I figure if they want to screw with me with the systems they implement for Smugglers I'm gonna pass some of that aggravation on to everyone else so they know what I'm feeling.

Of course they usually just find someone else to slice their crap so it doesn't matter anyway.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

yup which is why you think it's fair to still charge 50K if the customer supplies the parts right?

expensive padding REALLY influences the price of....ehm the 12 clicks you have to do?

Agreeing with the other posters here. we are being paid for our time.

image designers dont pay a cent for what they sell. i never had a set price and ppl always tipped me well, because i would be with them for up to half an hour tweaking their look, instead of making money doing other things.

every smuggler knows the woes of having to meet up with a customer, or wait for a tardy one, having to explain for 20 minutes each of the slices and what they do, having them change their mind 12 times, and even those clicks add up and takes some time to do, with a full suit of armor at least.

ive had customers change their mind on what they want AFTER ive started slicing, and then get angry that i cant change it. youre lucky we dont charge more to put up with that aggravation.

edit for typo

If someone supplies their own supplies I demand to be paid in unmarked simple tool kits

BTW on TC, simple tool kits go for 50K a pop, that's TC where ADK's are 500K a pop

CM's are like nukes. You have them just incase you need them, but as soon as you start using yours the other guys start using theirs and everything goes to hell-PyschoticChipmunk -The First line of the Riflenomican.

If I supply the components, 200k for a fully sliced anything. This price also goes for each piece of armor, if I happen to have the components. If I slice with their components, 25k a slice. For components, I charge (and give individual piece discounts):

50k:shock absorbent padding, powered motivators, mand intra, delicate trigger, illegal core boosters

30k: Finely carfted tolkits, trand intra, microplating

20k: simple toolkit

Now this is on tarq, where prices seem to be a bit higher for everything...I seem to be a bit on the low end. For armor, I encourage people to go with several lower lvl slices for grind armor, and if they do this only charge 100k each piece.

Jeez man, with those prices on my server you'd be LOSING money doing slices. I'm not joking one bit either.

I tell people how much each component cost me and tell them to pay that plus a tip. Most people pay me over a million for a ful slice. In guild it's free however.

From my slicing email I send on farstar

--------------------
What do you charge
-------------------

If you provide the components, i'll charge 10k per lvl for weapons slice. so a lvl 3 damage slice will cost you 30k. For armour i charge 5k per item to be sliced x the slicing lvl. So for a lvl 3 armour break reduction on a new set of aromur with no previous slices, that would coast you 5k times 7 peices of armour x 3. Coming to a grand total of 105,000 credits. This may sound like a lot but your paying for my time to put each lvl on each peice of armour. To slice a full suite takes around half an hour to 45 mins, depending how much you bother me when i'm doing it.

Discount rates applie for Members of AR PA and the AR city.

If you want me to get you the components We can come to a price. it will depend of how far I have to travel and how much I have to pay to buy the tools. I will need half the cost in advance as a deposite. I't normaly easier to buy your own components, but I will do it if you require.
