No...Ssri-ruuk use "enteched" slaves sorta like batteries to power and fly their ships...


Sekot's ships are actually living organisms...think coral. They are shaped and formed into ships and they are psychologically linked with the person who will fly them. One pilot only per ship.

The only pilot reference made in Rogue Planet is that Anakin Skywalker has one built for him. It subsequently dies in a battle of some sort.


In The Unifying Force, a hand full of Jedi are given some to aid in the final battle. More detail is given about the characteristics and capabilities in this book.

I know...sounds cryptic...but that's the best I can to without going into a major dialogue on various plot twists and spoilers for those who may be reading the books.

Yeah...Rogue Planet is a prequel-era novel...Anakin's first adventure after Ep. 1. And it ties into the last 5 books of the NJO.


And, BTW...there is no dark side. There is only the Force.

All this stuff about grey Jedi, there not being a dark or a light side, it's all EU stuff and contorary to the films. Heck, next you'll be telling me There should be battle masters in the game (if any Jedi read this and think it'sa good enough idea to whine about and get yet another publish devoted to them and everything put back, please shoot me).
