Count me in for any protest/revolt. =D

Also...if we all make a char on one server and protest on that one (hundreds of smugglers in one spot) it will be more effective because there will be more people. Protest on one server one day, and then on the next another day. We would need kind and generous people to provide travel money for the people making chars on that server to be part of the protest.

You think anyone here, at this particular moment, really cares if they are banned from this game? No, I see a group of my fellow players that have had enough. And I support them 100%. If powers that be see fit to ban anyone because they put on a protest because of the way we have been treated, then so be it I say.

i stoped to grind to be a jedi since i became a novice smuggler/ telling to myslef that they will soon make it more than cool

but so far lole mackie sa, it been bad and worse day after day.Since i hate grnding i decided to quit it now il return to grinding cause there one think i hate more than it and that smyggling

Ok, this is a good idea. What we would need to do first is post on our server forum what our intent is. Tell all Smuggler's to send us a mail in-game to join the Smuggler's Union.
You wouldn't need to get all smuggler's on the server to participate, you'd only need about 40-60% of them in the union to cause a Major economic break-down of that server.
You'll also need to get a group-mail system going in-game and for one week, whoever joins participates in finding other smugglers on that server. They send them tells and get them to join.
Once you have what you feel is enough people in the Union, you can then discuss what needs to be done to "make a statement." You schedule out the statements in an orderly fashion, such as....
1. Price Hike for a month. Outragious prices! (letting the public know why of course)
2. Walk-offs, i.e. strikes for a certain period of time.
3. Public announcements, encouraging the general public to understand, empathize, and participate in our cause.

Should one of our smugglers wish to quit, make sure the signs are up and advertised as to why he left the game.

There's a difference between a large number of wookies gathering in theed and smugglers refusing to render any services. If a dev wants to ban smugglers based on refusing to slice items/sell faction, then they might as well ban all of the other players who limit production or refuse to take requests.

What's being proposed here is no different then dropping the profession and everyone going their seperate ways. However, while refusing to continue our usual service(s) and keeping our profession, we still have our place.

We're not marching in Theed on every server in large numbers. We're just deciding to put the same amount of time in our profession as the devs: zero, zilch, nadda, none, zip...
