Jus an FYI for Rebels....
If my calculations are correct: If you are a Rebel Colonel it costs you 86K to buy and delegate each1000 FP to someone.
That obviously doesnt take into account any stored FP you may start with, and takes into account the 1.18 to 1 delegation ratio.

There are three ways to go up.
1) Grind
2) Buy it all
3) as you get deals with other Smugglers, use your profits from those deals to go up in rank (buying).
2) Buy it all
3) as you get deals with other Smugglers, use your profits from those deals to go up in rank (buying).
If you are a Master Smuggler and you have some rank to hold enough FP for smaller factional items (eg. turrets, armor, furniture) then there is no drawback to using you as the 'mule' to hold the FP. The benefit to the 'partner smuggler' is that they will make some additional profit by selling you the FP and that will benefit you for the future.
