Well, the post was deleted. I'm not surprised. I guess I didn't cross the line this time as I'm still here. I don't think I'll be pushing my luck further though, I do not want to get banned. But it wasa fun.
Alas, now it is time to act my age and go back to making constructive posts. I think I'll just avoid the jedi forums. Probably don't have too many friends there.
One thing I'm curious about, the thread lasted a while, wonder if it was my remarks that got it deleted, or if someone else posted something nasty.....

Was there sarcasm? Sarcasm IS NOT ALLOWED in the Jedi forums. They won't ban you but your post WILL be deleted. I know, half of my posts aren't even in existence any more.
Learn to make stickies. Have to copy and paste. Man. Such a drag.
Yeah, not a very mature post.. but Jedi do inspire that kind of hate anymore, even on their own forums. I have made semi-constructive posts there which have been flamed to oblivion by the kiddy trolls that hang out there.
It figures just as much that some idiot jedi gave the "saber envy" response to the flame. That one always annoys me. Personally I have the 6 unlocks *and* the XP I need to start on Jedi, but absolutely nointerest in all in the profession since the magic of Jedi is dead to me (and stomped on several times post-mortem, I'll add). I used to love the way Jedi panned out in the game, and admittingly I even wanted to be one, but now that they're practically everywhere I go - and I wish I were exaggerating about that - the charm is just lost completely.
It's like that line from The Incredibles: "when everyone is Super, no one will be."
I just know if I quit the game again it will be because of these Jedi multiplying like rabbits. /sigh.
The gist of it was...well, I have no idea. But since I'm here....

Usually troll posts get flamed into oblivion, so it's not just the fault of one person but the actions of many.
I wouldn't worry though, barely anyone of any importance actually posts to the Jedi boards anymore. I heard that the Jedi correspondant recently "retired" because he felt that the needs of the Jedi community weren't being heard by the Devs.
Anyway, the Jedi boards areabout as bad as BH boards were a very long time ago. Go figure.
