Once upon a time, I uttered the words "I'm not really in the mood right now" after having that used on me several times. It was strangely satisfying. 
Of course she was furious, since she'd gone to the trouble to put on some pretty fantastic lingerie, do her hair and get dolled up.
She'd lived with me for quite a while at that point, and we'd been together for quite a while longer... What part of me telling her for years that:
A) I have a REALLY long memory
-and-
B) I tend to hold a grudge
did she not understand? Perhaps we shall never know....
Two important things I learned from that relationship: How to do my laundry; and Amazingly gorgeous women often times aren't worth the hassle.
