Honestly if you're so upset about it, walk away from the computer and calm down.
The changes are great. You now get to CONTROL your slices AND have multiple slices per item. The good here outweights the bad.
And at the moment the salvage option on the crated tools is a known issue and development is working on fixing it.

The new slicing system is dumbed down but I enjoy chosing what I want sliced and I enjoy the multiple slices I can have on the weapons.
We had to get components to start off with in the old system. What would you say if slicing still used WUK's and AUK's and that all of our current components were no longer valid and they changed the schematics to use ateroid materials? The components would still be as rare as they are now.
My only beef with the system now is the loot drops droping so slowly.
The old slicing blew chunks. Herd. The new slicing system is vastly superior in style and substance. I can't believe anyone would honestly want to go back to random slices and whiney customers. How can you not want to control the type and amount of slice?
oh, wait... You don't want to loot? ok. Buy them or don't slice. Funny how so many people hated slicing and now are p!ssed about changes in slicing.
well why the hell should everything in the game revolved around the best loots? ITS bs.. before smuggler was a unique profession.. but not anymore obviously..

Maybe you're right. Since we car no longer craft the slicing tools, are you find that terribly upsetting, maybe it's time to move on.
Nothing personal, but the attitude certainly isn't doing any good around here.
how can you defend this BS they are tryin to push on us? I mean come wake up.. they are killin the game here...
