Maybe you're right
But my thinking was that I'd rather not find myself stuck in a tree or npc building
And woudl it really require that much coding to get us to land at any shuttleport? (screw the SL bit, I don't care about them, they can fight their own battles heh)
Shurely it would be a question of pullling up the shuttleport menu for Smugglers rather than the starport menu? In an ideal world, I'd want it to be only accesible from space as Jabba's is, that way all the work you put in kitting out your ship would be seen. I mean, wouldn't that be cool?
How Star Wars woudl that be??The smuggler hops up from the well worn pilot seat in histrusty YT1300 to go back and check on his fugitive passengers, a noted Jedi and idealistic freedom fighter, his mission to fly them to a friendly port clear of Imperial entanglements...
/ bah, lost myself in a dreamworld of possibility there
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GIVE US THE GAME WE WANT

Heh I hear you
Docking Bays would be cool too. But yeah I'd be over the moon with a simple ship take off graphic

Cool idea, this would also start to bring JTL and the ground together.

I think I'd rather see it work like this...
You open up your data pad and select a ground wp for a planet you're in the sector of and your passenger(s) are deposited there.
Of course your 'client' could email you the waypoint they want you to use at the last moment so as to protect his landing spot.
