I recently took a month off due to some personal reasons, to refocus my priorities, and give my body a rest.
Now that im back again, i just rp it as a short jaunt to the corporate sector casinos, only to return to find that my main warehouse, spice mining and processing facilities had been eliminated by the Imps. (in reality, i just didn't figure i'd be gone a month and didn't adequetly maintain everything in advance.) still got my second warehouse smack dab in the middle of the crystal swamp, which in the eu was popular smuggler hide away.
the rping is never ending. take a break from swgto refocus, play it off as something else. if your not an rp'er then perhaps give it a shot sometime. i've returned to find that twi'lek dancing girls still provide my smugglers with hours of non-stop entertainment. woot!
ps- i restarted my ahazi smuggler... my goal this time... no clones. wish me luck.

I've been doing multiplayer BF1942, Desert Combat (best multiplayer mod ever?) andCall of Duty for a LOOOOONG time. They all rock! SW:BF is awesome as well .... faster paced and VERY good looking..... one of the best looking games out there. The multiplayer connection issues need to be addressed and I'm sure they will.

Oh, if you like Desert Combat - you'll love Battlefield 2. It will be the modern battlefield release of the BF series. It will have the mod developer for Desert Combat involved in the design. One of the things I am looking forward too is the ability to shoot through buildings.

I've gotten bored with swg twice since I started on day 2 and the thing that got me out of it both times was creating a story...basically adding my own content until they adding something fun, or I found something.
Also, there's lots of little things in the game if you just drive around any planet...that can be fun for an afternoon or so...

Guys ....
Thanks!
Misery likes company, so it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who feels like this.
I have Battlefront (pc) and i might be getting Doom3 so those will be keeping me busy. A friend of mine just got broadband, a new PC, BF1942 and SW:BF so I can envision MANY nights fighting with him on a remote desert map somewhere.
I'll be taking a break (maybe do a little JTL beta to see how thats progressing) but I haven't quit yet!

You may enjoy Battlefield 1942 / BFV moreso than Battlefront. They are far superior games in regards to gameplay. It appears that Battlefront, right now, is like BFV light. There were problems with the multi-player selection but they patched that today.
I think Battlefront splash for explosives needs to be improved and so does the random reticule - other than that it definitely is a prettier game than the BF1942 / BFV.
I suggest grind in SWG then when your eyes explode, switch to Battlefront.
