During a rare moment when AoE was working for Commando weapons, I was fighting in a pvp battle and a jedi had me rooted. They left me alone for a minute and when they came back I decided to set some of them on fire at least. Long story short as I was getting up with KD Recover, I just said forget it and hit LD. I watched 3 of them fall and one guy run cause he only had 200 hp left.

Well not too long after the CU, some of us figured out that with the right food, drink, spice stacking, health crystal, and health buffs, you could achieve 12k HAM for 5 minutes.

Sooo... someone was really getting on my nerves, picking on a friend. Even after the CU I still hate using armour, so have a bit of TK innate, some BE clothing, but that's it.

Master Smuggler/Master Pistoleer

Let him shoot at me a few times. Then a few times more. Put a mez on him for fun. Watch him around. I didn't even move. Just stood there. Finally, my health dropped to just over 100 and I fired off a last ditch.

12000 - 110 = 11890 x 6 LD multipler = 71340 /armour delegation =35670 - 75% PvP reduction = 8918 PVP DMG

This doesn't take into account weapon dmg modifiers, armour absorption, etc. To be fair, the number was NOT that high, but still well over the 3k HAM mark.

So needless to say, he went down. Stayed down. Then we decided maybe we should let SOE know what we found. I mean, smugglers are dirty, but dayum.

has anyone else seen the "too hurt for last ditch" message when you were trying to LD when really low on health lately?

Maybe i was missing it before, but i never used to see that. I used to be able to getup from an incap and LD immediately. for insane damage. Maybe i'm just not remembering properly.

Last night a friend challeneged me to a duel for practice. He is a master swordsman and a damn good PVP player so I agreed in the hopes that I might learn something. Well, as we go along he is smearing me all over the pavment at first so I root him and walk a distance away and heal while he is desperatly trying to reach me. As so as my bar go back up I break the root with knock down shot and pump him full of blaster for a bit. At which point he revives and we continue the process. As may bar decreases I figure it is time for a little deception. He has never fought a smuggler before so I though maybe I will teach him something. I feign death, as which point he celebrates that he has won, so as he is standing there cheering I stand back up and LD him, immediatly incapping him. He was like "What the hell was that?". At which point I inform him, smugglers don't have to fight fair.

I find it very rewarding when you just let someone hit you until you have 100 health left, and then one shot them. . .if i were to tell a story here, i wouldnt be able to pick one.. . Master smuggler sure was fun. the only reason why i kept any bit of smuggler was because of last ditch!
