There is one great problem in all this.
I have already about half of my customers demand a "special" slice. Even providing all necessary pieces. If one does not agree, they take their business elsewhere. That HURTS if its a 1000 weapon factory run or an UBER Krayt weapon. And no, NO ONE in spatial directly asks for or explains the exploit. They are not brain dead, risking to be reported.
So one thing has changed : MANY MANY PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT PU SLICING ALREADY AND DEMAND IT.
Which means fixing this bug ASAP should be bumped up HIGH on the list of hot fixing.
have fun

Personally, in any game or even with real-life issues, I always document any dealing I have with CSR's. If it's in a game I take a screenshot, if it's an email I print it out, if it's on the phone I get their name and write down everything important they say. This way if you get banned you can call them up and say "This CSR told me it was OK in a conversation I had on [whatever date] at [whatever time], so I was unaware I was breaking any rules [etc etc]" to try and get your banning reversed.
If you don't do stuff like that, then you should probably start
