"With Trials of Obi-Wan being an expansion set for release via digital download the same day as the Episode III DVD, we can't think of a better planet to add to Star Wars Galaxies than Mustafar," said Julio Torres, Producer at LucasArts. "Meanwhile, including the spirit of Obi-Wan nicely bridges the prequel era and the more classic-oriented time period depicted in the game. We're really excited about continuing mythology established by other LucasArts games, as well."

Rough translation "timeline, what timeline?"
Best milk the players for all we can before this game goes moret^ts up than it hasnow.
"Smuggler missions in 06!" Get your signs painted up kiddies cus we all know the drill. You get prayed down with the "all our devs are too busy working on the expansion" hose until release. After that its 2 weeks of dev vacation because rather than hiring sufficient staff to complete their project, SOE likes to triple time it all the way to home plate. Following that we have the remainder of November to completely rearrange the team again and get everyone set up in new offices, leaving December for the Devs to fix half the problems in the expansion before they abandon it completely.
There is a small window of opportunity in January to sneak something in before the sekret planning sessions start up for the 4th expansion get going in February. Once that snowball starts rolling down hill you get to where we are right now.

the key phrase to emphasis is 'we cant think'.. go ahead and insert the period there and the post will have been fixed.
The sad thing is - they probably really can´t!

I was about to start a thread too....
MORE JEDI FRIGGEN CRAP.
here iw what DOESNT make sense...
1 they finally hit 1million copies sold.. ofcourse MANY MANY MANY have quit too. Lets say the number playing the game is 100,000 though I'm not even sure its this many. MxO sold 60k copies and I saw more players in that game than I ever see in this game now.
On average every player has 2.3 accounts (this is based on a random sampling a did a while back). Even if every single player was working on Jedi (we know the number is like half but lets pretend everyone is) .. thats less than 50% of the accounts buying the expansion because they most likely only have 1 account doing jedi. A marketing plan where you appeal to only 50% of your base is not a very attractive number.
