I'm pretty sure the slicing cap is different from the crafted cap.

Must guns with crafted cap of 948 have a slicing cap of 916
Guns with 966 crafted cap have slicing cap of 935.

I would personally love it if we could actually slice bio-linked items. At least items that are bio-linked to ourselves. Come on, I can't slice my own Kashyyyk Stalker because I forgot that I couldn't slice it after bio-link?

I wouldn't mind increased drop rates, either.

Yeah, the whole slicing bio-linked items thing needs to be looked at.

I agree contraband scans need to be uped to about 1 in 10 people passing through a Star Port. Depending on the system and the NPC scaning you, a player should be able to bribe the NPC to "Pass" the scan.

The NPC's who scan the players should be equal level to the PC/Group they are scaning and should be of an equal number + 1 for each group member. Imagine a group of 8 Level 80 PC'sbeing scaned by 16 Level 80 Stormtroopers. Are you gonna mess with that many high level Stormtroopers? I am sure it would make most players think twice before they did.

Having a master Smuggler in the group should mean you pass 95% of the scans.

As sugested by others failing a scan should result in the weapon being set back to a deafult unsliced state and the player being fined faction and money, the fine should be harsher if you fail an Imperial scan. The Rebels didn't like weapons being tampered with and frowned upon Han's weapon being in the state it was in but allowed for it to be that way but they would have prefered if it wasn't. So maybe a Rebel faction scan would result still result in a fine but the weapon would still remain sliced.

Also I very much agree with these components stacking! I normally live on my ship but it is filled with decorations, so I have had to place a house just to hold all these Toolkits as well as placing a load more of them in our guilds Smuggler Safehouse and my bank.

Damage increases aren't taking enhancements (Krayt tissues, Gorax bones, etc.) into account. So the percentages are way off.

Most components are rarer than Mando Intraframes and Delicate Triggers. Trando Intras are almost unheard of, and Illegal Core Boosters appear to drop as often as Black-Sun helmets. Once the initial gush of converted AUK/WUKs go away, even tier-2 slices will be uncommon, as the Simple and Finely Crafted Toolkits.. aren't craftable.

Some kind of disadvantage to using sliced equipment would be nice. Preferably one mitigated by smuggling. I'm fine with keeping slices rare, but I'm more for making them rarer among nonsmugglers.

Did anyone mention they need to stack?

And the drop rate is too low?

In THAT order please because if you increase the drop rate I STILL can't loot them since I have no space left.

Oh, and pre-Publish 19 slice weapons need to be identified as unslicable?

And that this slicing system doesn't actually inspire me any more than the old one did?

And has anyone thought to tell us WHY the In Concept concept we discussed for 5 months went *poof* without so much as a by-your-leave?

And that brings us to actual SMUGGLING content, which wasn't the topic of this thread but seems to naturally follow: WHERE is it?

Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie, Two years of "Soon"(TM), a harsh bunch of lies.
Ask me a riddle and I reply: "Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie"

Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie, Dancers can't smuggle and neither can I.
Ask me a riddle and I reply: "Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie."

Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie, Why are there Jedi, I don't know why.
Ask me a riddle and I reply: "Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie."

1. Loot drop rate is way way too low

2. items should stack, at the very least the simple tool kits should. They're not unique items, and it's not like we can stick them back into a crate after we convert them.

3. Damage reduction slice needs to be bumped up a bit to make it worth doing. 100% customization for a 3% chance isn't worth it at all concidering only high level stuff drops the materials for the slice. I tried with the 2% chance and just had someone beat on me for a long long time and it never worked once.

4. Can'tslice an item that's already been bio-linked...well, that rules out a lot of mine and many other people's stuff sincethat'smost of the best guns that came out with the expansion. I always thought of the bio-link as an extra certification for using things, so I don't know why the game can't just think the same thing.

5. Need a visual indication if a gun has been previously sliced before the revamp.
