Well, I'm not quite that old... but can I get special admission if I display my copy of the trilogy on Laser Disc?

DrevenStrobesays:

Maturity has nothing to do with how old a person is. I know some 12-year-olds who are much more mature than some 30-year-olds. And that having a server with an age limit on it still won't solve the ub3r l33t j3d1 problem.

Besides...the first criteria that he lists (having seen the original release of SW in a movie theater) excludes anyone less than 28 years old...

Get real...

Because the general hatred that the smuggler community holds for j3di hangs like a fog around this forum.

No, no... I wouldn't even mind Jedi on the server.... just get rid of the "jedi". If you don't understand the difference, you're not allowed on my server either.

Yeah.... a server full of true fans.... no uber-1337 wanna-be punks... people who have been fans from the beginning, not brats who think they might have seen Jedi but weren't old enough to remember for sure.

That's the ticket.... SWG for Star Wars fans. Yes, you have to show ID to get in. The rest of you can go play with ewoks or something.

I think I take offense to that...I certainly consider myself a true star wars fan, and I wasn't old enough to see the originals in the theatre. I suppose I could have seen Jedi, had I been introduced to star wars just a year or two ealier, but at the time I was too young to know it was in the theatres and I only knew that my older brother had some cool toys that had something to do with it. Anyway, I figured it out soon enough and from then on out star wars has played a large role in my life, including career choice.

I just thought I'd mention that just because some of us weren't old enough to see the films during the original release, does notnecessarily mean we appreciate the films anyless.

Lol, I just realized I need to get off my soap box, as I'm sure it wasn't your intention to insult people like me. Although, if it was I could add a few expletives to further illustrate my point.

We are Star Wars fans too! (and some of us AREN'T brats)!

I had a stuffed ewok with light up eyes, and I had the trilogy (no, not the original, the GOOD trilogy) on VHS, but I'm only 21. Can I still get in? Please?

Howabout a maturity limit? I'm not nearly old enough (just barely, I was born in 83. I think Jedi was the first movie I saw that I can remember, even though I think it was on VHS) to have seen the originals. I still have the original original VHSes though, not that crap SE. But back to maturity level. I don't go around 'pwning' or T-bagging corpses. im n0t d0wn w/ teh 1337 sp33k. Oh, and I know the ever-important difference between "your" and "you're"

Give us a server (or make the current servers) that can tip off a CSR once someone has gotten so many /reportAnnoyance [target]. Say, 50. And yeah, totally make a quiz that you can take only once to get into the server. Like, name both Obi-Wans and tell us who was better as him.
