A lot of this has been covered before in the revamp talks so really won't get into that. The one point I will is BH's. I just do not see this as feasible now. They made BH for post CU to counter Jedi as such they have very high defensive skills. A Smuggler is no where near a Jedi in combat and as such will be easier prey then a Jedi. As such sure they should be, but in a game enviroment such concepts don't matter much. Unless a Smuggler is a BH also the Smuggler will not have much less of achancein a fight with a class built to take on Jedi. In SOE's attempt to regulate their hell spawn Jedi problem they have pretty much borked BH's chances from ever getting any other kind of bounties in the game. A Smuggler will give less credits then aJedi but being so much easier the BH's will flock after the Smugglers simply for the easy kill and for many of the new BH's and even several old, the grief factor. With the DEVs talking about changing it so only 1 BH can come after a Jedi at a time this will even more so instill in them to go after the easier prey. Pre CU a Smuggler was on much more level setting with a BH but now with the changes that have come to BH post CU they have lost their ability to earn any other type of bounty.

On the point that Smugglers aren't equipped to handle a BH...BULL. Bull I say. A Smuggler is just as potent as a BH with our strengths pointed directly at the ability to get away.
In fact- as soon as they make Concussion Shot a mez no Smuggler should ever have an excuse for getting killed in a one on one fight.

I was just rollin' through some old posts I put up a year ago when we were asked to come out with some documents on what Smuggler should be.
Amazingly- some of the things actually came about- Smugglers ARE Last Ditching people with rifles (as Master Riflemen even) and it's not a problem.
I wish the rest of these ideaswould come to fruition- "sneak" where you would actively have to/sneak to walk past a group ofscanners would be more immersive than the passive version we have now.
Also if and when we get bounties "grapevine" would be a totally AWESOME ability. You could be checking to see if you are on the terms, who has taken your bountyAND if they are in your immediate area (like near your city). That would be cool.

I would also like to see something done about faction delegation for smugglers. Smugglers are double-crossers. It sucks that the only people that get a good delegation ratio are high-rankers. I think smuggler should get a reduction in the delegation modifier as they move up in underworld. That way it is feasible to be a faction jumper to make easy credits off of selling points. I know a lot of people will say then what's the point of being colonel? The only bonus to being a colonel in the GCW is the faction cap. This should motivate the devs to make the higher ranks more meaningful. Great ideas hotdog.

That's a decent and semi overlooked point.About now any decent pilot with colonel rank can make a ton of faction in deep space while overt, and if they even plan on it, sell it for very cheap. Below 80cpu if they wanted.
