There are two smuggler quests on Kashyyyk that I have found so far:

Myydril Cavers
Speak to a guy in the town within the caverns. He's standing by a bunch of containers near the exit of the village. This quest gives you a pistol

Space Smuggling Mission
Speak to a guy standing beside the captain on the top level of the tree in Kachiro. He will send you on a machine to smuggle items to several different systems. The final one will spawn a couple low-lvl ships that will attack you. There is no reward for this mission except for some cash, however its the first real "smuggler" quest as I wouldn't really consider the cavern quest as "smuggling". It's short and easy but its a start

Flash Harrison's Kashyyykquest that leads to Dearic Cantina is a quasi-Smuggling mission that turns into Thom Steele (who gives us our first Cargo Hold and Mining Laser). What I can't figure out is where/when/how to get the Tractor Beam part (can't mine without that, I've tried, although I think my 1678/5000 condition asteroid was bugged...pieces wouldn't blow off it for me to blow up more and mine by proximity without using a Beam).

My DL 44 XT has about 75 points on that. Sad. And that's a reward weapon.

I like my class level quests like I like my women....easy, fast and with a reward that corresponds to the level of play.

yeah i think smuglers r deaply unerappriciated in this game cuz slicing weapons and armor is not enough to satisfy any scoundrel and new quests and more abbilytis like slicing ship chassis to get the masss up or enhancing specs on ship parts would be awesome also
