seriously: many bothans did die..... i killed every bothan information broker to see if they had any info on them about the smuggler revamp... i sure hope Veela isn't a bothan, since she seems to come with the most information...

It's because Fishbrains and I are Bothans, and we keep her on the up and up!

Same here. I have a pile of weapons I have been waiting on slicing until the new method is out. I am going to get a crate of CDEFs, practice on those, and then tweak my primary weapons.

That Renegade should hit oh-so-nice, and I won't wince when I am slicing a brand new DE-10 or Scythe if I have some control over the outcome.

./ Dimek Tokot
./ Elder Smuggler / Black Epsilon Ace
./ Happiness is loot and a warm blaster.

If we are allowed to control the process somewhat, I will go wild. The part I have always disliked is the randomness of it all.

Just remember the new system adds a chance for failure the more you slice, so consider the consequences. Of course we won't know the %'s of failure right away, but slice conservatively! Make one or two slices then try your gun for an hour or so before you go hog wild on it.

Was it a chance of failure or did it make the weapon unstable? I dont remember.

That's only if QA doesn't find any problems.

We Diggs The Tiggs
Col. Micte Badul, Imperial Smuggler
Master Smuggler, Master Bounty Hunter, Master Pilot
Dirty rotten scoundrel and all around swindler

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways,
martini in one hand, cigar in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO - What a Ride!"
