my dumb@ss move was becoming SF to sell faction and heading to Theed. i remember i was overt and vulnerable, what i forgot though was that you appear OUTSIDE the starport when you go to Theed.

what i find odd is, the imperial jedi's actually seem way friendlier then rebel ones. no imps attacked me until i stated fighting back against the dozen or so npc ST's that were firing on me. an imp jedi quickly came and ended the fight by slicing me in two.

then, no smacktalk, he offered to heal me of my wounds when i left the clone center and we even joked about me appearing in Theed overt like i did. go figure, it's the imps that are good sports.

LOL - I did that the other night. It was just one jedi though. I decided to stay and die instead of run though. I didn't last long.

shame there are so many bad stories about pvp

Actually most of them are j3di in my book.

Enable simple character shadows in game if you are having trouble with cloaked j3di. You do not need to have them on high detail just enough to cast a shadow.

If you're an Ace pilot, here is a great way to make sure you're protected.

Invite the customer to group with you. Ask them to wait at the starship terminal.

While Combatant, buy the faction points, then go Special Forces.

During the 30 second waiting period, proceed to the terminal, invite the customer aboard and launch your ship.

Make the trade and land, or let the customer use the escape pod and you can proceed to a safe destination of your choice.

If you do it this way, you'll never be "set up" and you'll never be attacked while you are working.

Well my spots are getting to well known, they came to get me on talus today

i normally sell on the hill top bunker there not that many rebs come up that way. i got ganked only once while doing it cause i forgot about the timer and came off the hill early and was trying to get in to space and a clocked jedi kill me.

This was going to be my response, but it's been awhile since I've sold some FP so I didn't know if this had been nerfed in some way or another since then. Glad to see it still works. It also works if your a vet with the Soro Yacht and not an Ace. That's how I did it before I got my YT
